"I come here all the time and have a rewards card with them! Huge fan of boba and tried many places, but none come close to takeo! The flavors are rich and sweet, the prices are reasonable, and the atmosphere is wonderful. It’s an easy place to come to and talk with friends/family. My go to is the strawberry matcha boba! It’s the perfect mix of both flavors. ❤️ highly recommend! Workers are always respectful and kind."

Soft but still chewy and the perfect brown sugar flavor. Between my husband and I, we’ve had over 60 drinks and there has not been one we don’t love. Top rec is the Thai tea!"

"One of my favorite boba spots in KC! Their boba has the perfect intrinsic brown sugar sweetness and chewiness that many other places lack, and it makes all the difference! If you’re looking for a drink with a stronger tea flavor, I recommend the Hong Kong milk tea—it’s a blend of five black teas, balanced with evaporated milk, and sweetened with condensed milk. It’s really good! While they offer a brown sugar latte and a regular milk tea, they don’t have a brown sugar milk tea, which is my only small gripe. I love their decor and design-the dark green tones are super aesthetic and the bear is adorable. They also have a loyalty card system with a Buy 10 get 1 drink free reward. Plus, I’m happy that they’re Taiwanese-owned! It’s a bit far from me, but overall, I’ll definitely be back! — Update: came back and got the strawberry matcha and it was great as well! Boba quality continues to stay consistently yummy!"

You can choose from so many flavors, sweetness level type of milk and toppings! Plus its at the perfect price point and the quality outweighs the price!The shop itself has a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, making it a great place to hang out with friends or just relax with a delicious drink. What an ambience and a sweet vanilla smell fills the air. I highly recommend Takao Tea to any boba lover or anyone looking to try boba tea for the first time.
