from Google & Yelp"I went here in July before the new management took over. We bought lots of pastries, such as the Coconut Twist, Boroh Cream Danish, and Pork Sung Bun, and they were all tasty. It felt just like other 85°C Bakeries I’ve been to. We also got drinks, including the Mango Slush and Yuzu Lavender Bubbly, which were refreshing. I haven’t had a chance to visit since the new management, but it sounds like it may not be as worth the visit anymore."
"This used to be a great bakery and was fully on par with other 85°C locations when it first opened. Unfortunately, ever since new management took over, this location has decided that success is optional. The selection has shrunk to the point where it feels like a pop-up bakery rather than an 85°C. Shelves are empty, options are limited and availability is a constant mystery. The hours are… a choice. Closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with shortened hours the rest of the week. During the holidays, I watched multiple customers walk up, check the door, and leave disappointed. Bold strategy. Missed opportunity. As for drinks, don’t get your hopes up. They somehow keep running out of boba. At a boba bakery. 🤷🏻♀️ Their coffee is nice and strong though On the bright side, the workers themselves were nice and friendly, but you could clearly tell they were overworked and stretched thin, which again points back to management issues. Easily the worst 85°C Bakery I’ve been to. That really hurts to say because we were so excited when they first opened. If you’re looking for the experience this place used to offer, this isn’t it anymore."
"My wife has been here several times and this is my first and it was a cute spot next door to Aldis and Pan Asia. I would give it a 5 if there were more spot to sit at and take in more of the atmosphere and enjoy the food. My wife usually gets the ube cake for birthdays and we were recommended to try the potato croquette and that was pretty good. My daughter loves cheesy garlic bread. Staff was nice and next time I’ll try their drinks as I saw boba tea there."
"Stopped by since my kiddo loves bakeries. There were plenty of staff, but no one really greeted us or said much while we looked around. The guy at checkout was nice, though. Everything seemed fresh—they were even bringing out warm bread while we were there. I liked that most items had the ingredients listed, and the prices were pretty reasonable. I didn't try any beverages, but maybe will try those too if we return. I’d give it another try."
"Been to so many places like this being a NoVA girl most of my adult life, and travelled for food and quaint towns. Being that I made this first trip to Olathe KS I just got to try an Asian bakery. It would have been a 5 star rating if: the place was cozier; while new and modern and clean, there isn’t an inviting of cozy feel. Your immediate reaction is to just quickly look at the baked goods then leave. More couches or chairs perhaps??? The service was okay, you pick out your baked treat then line up. You’re not greeted right away and not a lot of chit chat at the counter either. Not too friendly…now, the egg tarts, reasonably priced and delicious! I just wish they had more selections!!!"
"I love the concept here! Grab a tray, peruse the baked goods and pick up any that catch your eye (spoiler alert, everything looks delicious), and check out..."
