"Just left Lamar’s today at 11:32AM. Did not get the chance to ask for the staff’s name. But, to the cute, friendly, honest front staff, you made my day. Have always loved Lamar’s for their delicious, soft, and fluffy donuts. But your customer service just made this visit 10x better. I've always been an original glazed donut girl fan, but I decided to try the German Chocolate, and it was delicious! Thank you 😊"

"Omg Lamar's has been delicious for decades, the flavor of there pastries are mouth watering. Especially the glazed donuts . I notice for the last year the flavor has changed. Today we got a cinnamon roll, apple fritter, a donut with chocolate glaze and strawberry Danish. Everything was horrible NO FLAVOR, WAY TO THICK where all you taste is bread no flavor. Over cooked the apple fritter was soooo thick and tasted burnt no apples inside . The cinnamon roll was sooo thick no flavor. Donut also to thick no flavor . Lamar's is not like it use to be the mouth watering flavor is gone. Won't go back. Quick trip pastries taste way better.."

"The young lady at the cash register was not super friendly. It wasn't like it was early in the morning. It was about 11 o'clock. We went there. As far as the donuts, the only donut that was good was the old-fashioned and sour cream. Really good donut, every other donut was borderline dry. I recommend daylight donuts. I did get a 1 a dozen I tried to cinnamon roll very big But not the kind of cinnamon roll, you would think it was. So I'm gonna give that a 3"

"When we pulled in the first thing we noticed was a staff person sitting behind the counter on their phone and they looked at us, got up and went in the back room. It was a young gentleman. We proceeded to go up to the counter and there was girl waiting on people and I said good morning to her and she did not say anything back. She acted kind of annoyed that we were at 6:30 in the morning getting donuts but we had seen this location the night prior and decided that this is where we wanted to get our breakfast before we left to make the 4-Hour trip back home. We did end up getting some really good donuts. I would recommend the filled long jaw and the chocolate Long. John, the cinnamon sugar donut the glazed chocolate as well as the cruellers with chocolate frosting."

"I can always tell when I've done soemthing that makes my wife mad...she brings home donuts from Lamar's. When I haven't done something wrong, she gets me donuts from a good donut place. Not sure what happened to Lamar's. They used to be a solid donut. Now, they're about on par with Dunkin'. Trust me, you do not want to be equal or lesser than Dunkin', that's just not a good donut. Lamar's, if you're listening, please improve your donuts. GO back to that small donut shop type quality. Now you're now just like a mass produced product that is just not good."
