"My husband & I happened to stumble upon this place at lunchtime today. The parking lot was pretty full, so we figured it must be a good place to eat. Husband ordered the fried catfish, I had the chicken gizzards listed on the specials board, and we split an order of the most perfectly breaded fried mushrooms. All the food was wonderful and reasonably priced and the complimentary bread & cinnamon rolls were a nice bonus. The owner's daughter was our table server, and she was just terrific! We can't wait to go back and try the breakfast fare!"

"Food is great, prices are reasonable, and atmosphere is clean and comfy. We’ve been here a few times and plan to keep coming back but my last visit.. waitress asked how everything was and I said good but let her know the bottled ketchup tasted like it went bad. She immediately responded that that was impossible, that they make it fresh every 2 days. I was so taken back... I just figured she’d toss the bottle and get me a new one, no big deal 🤷‍♀️. Also… you make your own ketchup and reuse brand- labeled bottles? Ok... I don’t really care, I was just shocked by her dismissal and defensiveness. Why not just say, oh shoot.. here’s another one, sorry about that or… give me another bottle and explain you make it in house so it might just have a different taste but to try this bottle instead. Idk, we’ll be back. Just hope it won’t be uncomfortable lol."

"Located on South Seneca and 27th Street South, this family owned Mom and Pop restaurant has the best homemade food in Wichita and in my eyes is one of the rare jewels hidden in the mist. It is a experience you must try in order to appreciate its great tasting and affordable food, quiet and comfortable atmosphere and meet the wonderful people who go there. The fried chicken dinner I ordered was as perfect as could be. This is no doubt my favorite restaurant in Wichita. Don't let this restaurant fail as several family owned restaurants have over the past 4 years. Go and find out how good adorable food should be served and thank them for it. I guarantee you will not regret it!"
