"As a solo traveler, I recently visited Wichita (lovely city, btw) and was looking for a local diner for dinner. Delano's popped up in my search and it was just a short distance from where I was staying, so I went to check it out. It was Tuesday, around 6:00 pm and it wasn't crowded at all. My waitress, Amelia, was so pleasant and attentive. I didn't have to wait long for my Greek salad which was very good, and unusual in that it included pickles in it. I returned to Delano's for breakfast a few days later. The veggie omelette and home fries were just what I wanted and the service was great. Unfortunately, I don't remember the waitress's name but she was attentive, bi-lingual (I overheard her greet the next table), and the service was very good. The place was much busier on Saturday around 11 am but I didn't feel rushed. If I ever get back to Wichita, Delano's will definitely be one of the places I'll stop at."

"I’m giving it a 3 and not a 1 because the waitress wasn’t rude or anything and she did great. 😌 The food was also good. 🍔 However I cannot for the life of me understand where the owners got the audacity to advertise as much as they do. If I’m getting advertised to this much the food should be free. Absolutely wild that they’re about to start advertising on their mugs as well 🤦🏽‍♂️"

"2 waiters only one serving food i waited a whole hour for my food i was just about to leave, i ordered cinnamon roll pancakes with meal, taste like 5 cups of sugar added to the pancakes asked to speak to manager she did not get them for me i stead gave me $2 and some change back, it was inedible i took 1 bite. They sat me by a big group of people instead on the opposite side im sure i would’ve gotten my food faster i literally sat and ate for 10 mins and was done. Server was Miranna, and another woman i don’t know what her job was but she could’ve helped. I will never come back. I could’ve went to ihop hell even McDonald’s."

"Admittedly, this wasn’t where we were going for breakfast as we have so many favorites, but our plans changed and we were downtown and figured we would try and the whole family liked their meals and we will add to the rotation when we are in Delano. The kids loved the pancakes and little waffle and their veggie options were appreciated by me with lots of veggies outside of just onions"

"The food? Delicious. The atmosphere? Cozy. The staff? Literally so nice. I’ve been there three times and the waitress remembered me, somehow, by the third time. Lovely service! Their iced-coffee beverages are so good and better, imo, than what you get at chain coffee places around town. Large, sweet, dessert-drink style. Yum."
