"My family is always on lookout for authentic German food for a reminder of my childhood in Germany and German family meals. This place really delivers authentic German food at a great price. I've been at other similar restaurants with double the price. Food was great with perhaps smaller portions, but the price point is great. The food was authentic. Schnitzel were great and served hot, red cabbage very close to my mom's taste, Bierock stuffed and cooked hot. I enjoyed the German Bier on tap with traditional Maß available. The atmosphere is German but simple. It is a Bierhall arrangement, especially upstairs. There is a small store at the entrance for rare German items for home cooking which we took advantage of. Wheelchair entrance is available on side of restaurant and is not obvious. Parking is available in back which is not labeled. We were not sure where we should park. It was dark with little light, so we were a bit lost finding our way to restaurant entrance. Fortunately someone came out of a narrow fenced walkway that helped us find our way. We expect to go back when we visit next time"

"I had originally ate here when they were at their former location on Central in the train carts years back and it was really good. I came in again today and it was just as good as I remembered. I got the Bierock meal with the German potato salad and also the pretzels for our appetizer and it extremely good and fresh. Highly recommend this place for some authentic tasting German food at a reasonable cost. They also have a small German market within that is neat."

"Gemütlichkeit! Authentic German dishes served in a modern/funky German beer hall complete with an outdoor biergarten. The menu is simple and addresses the traditional German dishes. Potato Pancakes, pretzels, Wursts and Wieners, salads, spätzle, Jägerschnitzel, and more. The Beer, Brandy, and Liquor choices will quench your thirst, and the dessert choices (and specials) will top off your meal nicely - if you still have room. We visited on a quieter week night, and I imagine Thursday through Sunday get busy - plan accordingly and enjoy!"

"Absolutely fantastic place to eat and drink beer! Friendly staff and good eats. I’ve had most of the menu and haven’t had anything I didn’t like. The mustard is good too! Beer wise I highly recommend the Weihenstephaner Dunkel and Weihenstephaner Hefeweizen. Brotzeit Teller appetizer was delicious."

"Super friendly service, unbelievable food and the ultimate atmosphere. Seriously it doesn't get better than this. I left here having the best schnitzel and spaetzle of my life! Piping hot and fresh without much of a wait at all. Been going to this place since they were a food truck I chased around town. If anything, the taste just gets better and better over the years!"
