from Google & Yelp"I absolutely adored this place! I work at a cat cafe (very far away in Pennsylvania) but I always make it a point to visit a cat cafe when Im traveling. This place was amazing!! The coffee was great, as was the iced tea. But when I visit cat cafes Im here for the cats. The cats were well taken care of. There were rules in places for their safety (monitoring kids, separate areas just for the cats with no visitors, etc) and the staff clearly love these animals which is really important to me. I didnt catch either of their names, but my appointment was thursday January 15th, right at 11am. Both staff members were super attentive and helpful. The guy brought our drinks in and knew everything there was to know about each cat, all their quirks and personalities. Thanks for taking care of these kitties and your staff is super cool. Will definitely be back when im in the area!!"
"If you love cats, you will fall in love with Central Purrk! Not only can you observe sweet felines in their play area while drinking delicious libations (try the Dirty Dr.) You can actually (for a nominal fee) spend time with them, soaking up some feline love! Watch our for those cute little murder mittens! Be careful, you may find some fur love."
"I will never return for another visit. We were welcomed in by the female staff member asking if we had visited before and I responded that no, we hadn't. She then asked if we had an appointment to enter with the cats. I said no, because I didn't know I needed one. She said I can do it on the website or I can pay there at the counter. I was a little surprised I had to pay to sit with the cats and she said "That's how we keep the lights on." I really do not appreciate being spoken to that way. That is a rude and unprofessional way to speak to someone. She could have politely said "Yes ma'am" or "Yes, that's correct." Also, I can't help but ponder how every other coffee shop in the world can pay their bills if they don't have cats? She is lucky my daughter was with me and had been so excited to visit that I didn't leave right then and there. We tried to come on Monday but it was closed which is completely fine but I am just trying to say my daughter patiently waited for 2 days to come here I wasn't about to storm out over a conversation my daughter wasn't even listening to or would understand why I was upset. So I signed a 2 PAGE WAIVER (yes, a WAIVER!) and spent $30.00 get a drink and sit with cats for 30 minutes. We were also either supervised at one point or the male employee was taking a break. I am not sure but it felt like we were being supervised. There are so many rules, attitudes, waivers for this place. One would think they had zoo animals in here but it's really adoptable cats you are not allowed to even pick up. This is not an enjoyable or peaceful visit to a coffee shop. The female staff member was also wearing a mask and I really wondered if she was coming to work sick, but I really just did not want to even talk to her anymore than I already had. I couldn't wait to get out of here. Just so everyone knows you can go into Feeders Supply and there's 2 cats freely walking around and many other businesses in Georgetown that you can see and pet cats in the office, if you really want to... without signing a ridiculous waiver. You could also just stay home and drink coffee with your own cat and have a better experience."
"Great little coffee shop with cats. I usually go for black coffee and they had a ghost cat latte and it was so good and I was glad I went out of my comfort zone. Highly recommend."
"We visited on a Saturday morning for a Yoga with Cats event. For $20, we received a 45 minute yoga session, 15 minutes of Cat Lounge time, and a small drink. I chose the vanilla iced coffee, and it was delicious! The Cat Lounge area was well maintained, and the cats appeared to be very content. We enjoyed using the various toy options available to play with the cats, and they seemed to have a lot of fun with them. Definitely recommend checking this place out and booking ahead if you want to go inside the Cat Lounge (or to visit for an event). Maybe you’ll even find a furry friend to take home!"
"Central Purrk Cat Cafe is located in Georgetown, Kentucky and about 15 miles north of Lexington, KY. Central Purrk is also a coffee bar and pastry shop...."
