What People Are Saying
from Google & Yelp"The service and food were both outstanding. They have a large bakery selection, and my sister and I found ourselves impressed with the lunch menu as well. We couldn’t decide on which sandwich we wanted, so we each got one and split. My favorite was the Turkey & Swiss, but the Jambon was very good, too ! I had to get a pain au chocolat because they just looked so good! Spoiler alert: it was. I will definitely be back to try out the coffee and more bakery options!! I highly recommend ❤️"
"The place is located on a well-known avenue in Louisville, making it easy to find. Despite the busy area, there is plenty of street parking available along the avenue, which is very convenient. The atmosphere is beautiful and well-decorated, with seating both outside on the sidewalk and indoors. The outdoor tables have heaters nearby, making it cozy even on colder days. Although the interior space isn’t very large, it’s perfect for a good breakfast. The breakfast I had was simply fantastic! The flavor combinations and product quality are amazing. The price is a bit high but reasonable, considering the experience and taste. They also have an in-house bakery with a wide variety of breads and flavors that look delicious!"
"Edit: We have been coming here regularly for over a year and while the pastries are still really good, the service has consistently gone down. Our last visit was awful. The lady at the counter did not smile or say hello throughout the whole transaction, and when my husband took an extra 10 seconds to look at what pastries were available, she was impatient, visibly annoyed and made us feel like we just made her wait 10 minutes. With the service getting worse, the amazing pastries are no longer worth it for us. The service was bad enough to spoil my morning. Bread and pastries here are divine. You can pick blindfolded and it will still be guaranteed amazing. Kouign amann is the best we’ve ever had - they are available only on Fridays and Saturdays and usually sell out before the afternoon. But, there are plenty of other pasties and they are all fresh, flaky perfection. Hands down the best bakery in Louisville!"
"One of my favorite cafes in town. Surprisingly every single item on menu is delicious.I’ve tried poached egg and bacon flatbread, spicy mushroom and spinach flatbread, mushroom tartine and smoked salmon tartine. Blueberry cheesecake just tastes like heaven."
"I had heard rave reviews about this place but was very disappointed. I ordered a hot Carmel cider didn't get the Carmel. Then the smoked salmon tartine bread was very hard and small portion for the price. Had a wide variety of pastries on menu but small selection at 11 am. Ordered a chocolate crossaint and barely any chocolate. Was good but not amazing. Plus ordered the special gingerbread cookie with marshmallow and chocolate chips and good but wasn't fresh. Not very large inside"
"Cute, French-vibe bakery. Love the food. Service counter confusing a bit in terms of which side to order."
