What People Are Saying
from Google"This place is great for breakfast and brunch enthusiasts. If I could I would probably rate it a 4.5, but I decided to round up. In my opinion the sweet dishes are better than the savory, but both are still good. If you are debating between the two go sweet or a little bit of both. My other warning for the Highlands location and the St Matthews location is that when it’s nice outside, this place is PACKED on the weekends so get there early or expect a line out the door! It’s worth it though to wait. You could even stop next door at Day’s Coffee Shop for a little drink if you have to wait. For food, I did one Key Lime Pancake with a side of biscuits and gravy. My husband got the Baja Benedict. The biscuits and gravy are delicious and are homemade so different than most restaurants. The Key Lime Pancakes were PHENOMENAL. My husband said they could have been more “key limey” but I disagree, I thought they were the perfect balance. My husband really liked his Baja Benedict as well."
"This place was awesome! It was extremely busy (as expected on a Sunday morning) and we were packed in like sardines, but service was excellent! Our server was friendly and efficient, the coffee was fresh and had great flavor. Everyone in our group tried something different and no one was disappointed! Everything was delicious and came out hot. We were expecting the French Quarter Meets French Toast to be overly sweet, but to our surprise, it was not. Sweet, but not sickening sweet. I was having trouble deciding between the lemon lovers cakes and the pineapple upside down cake pancakes or waffles. Our server suggested half orders of each and I’m so glad I did. They were both excellent! The waffles were quite possibly the best waffles I’ve ever eaten. Perfect texture and flavor👌 The pancake was equally good, but totally different than the waffles. Again, pleasantly surprised that none of it was overly sweet. There are so many choices on this menu traditional and unique so there is truly something for everyone."
"I am absolutely obsessed with this place and would eat there every day if I could. The staff is so friendly and quick, the food is UNREAL, and the atmosphere is so cozy and perfect. Special shoutout to Eilish and Ressa, who made my experience awesome the two times I went so far. ☺️ This is truly one of my favorite spots in Louisville!"
"Found this gem on our way to the Lights Under Louisville. Great food and service. Friendly atmosphere and fun menu. So many good options made it hard to decide what to try. Pineapple-Upsidedown Pancakes and Baja Benedict proved to be great choices! Hot chocolate grits were a fun holiday item too, added a mint hot chocolate to go for the ride through the Caverns!!"
"Cute little diner with true old-school vibes 🕰️🍳 Retro décor, cozy and small, but full of character. Great variety on the menu, and everyone in our group was happy with their breakfast. Definitely worth giving it a try! 😊🥞"
