"When we first arrived, the bar was packed. The bartender Britney was very busy tending to everyone, but she did a great job. She made sure that each customer was fully taken care of. Also, the food prices are great and you get a large portion. The cheese curds are very tasty! The Conservatory Bar connects the hotels together and it overlooks the river. There are multiple places to sit, ranging from the high tables to comfortable lounge chairs or you can sit at the bar. we had a wonderful time and if we are ever at The Galt Hotel again, we will definitely come back here."

"The Conservatory at the Galt House is a cool spot to grab a drink, relax, and catch a game. The location in the sky bridge gives it a unique vibe, and there’s plenty of seating with multiple large screens playing sports, so it’s great for a group hangout or just unwinding solo. The drinks menu is solid, with a wide selection of liquor to choose from, and you can even order food from Thelma’s right next door, which is super convenient. The one drawback? The country music. If you’re a fan, you’ll probably love it, but if you’re not, it WILL wear on you after a while. That aside, it’s still a nice place with a lot to offer, especially for sports fans or anyone looking for a relaxed atmosphere in the heart of downtown Louisville."
