"The Cottage Cafe made for a great stop for lunch. I had a cup of the tomato dill soup, which had a great combination of flavors, and the Benedictine sandwich. The sandwich was colorful and had lots of cucumber flavor. Having never tried this type of sandwich before, it was a great surprise. The place is wonderful with lots of southern charm. The staff was friendly and quick to take my order. This is the kind of place I’d imagine is a local treasure. Definitely worth a visit."

"This is an incredible little cafe. Love the atmosphere and the staff is so friendly and personable, love that they also employ special needs individuals. I had the Hot Brown, my husband had the Pimento Cheese Burger and potato salad, it was all so delicious. The desserts were absolutely amazing. We will definitely be back, soon!"

"I loved having lunch at this little cottage! The service was outstanding and everyone was so friendly and attentive. Food came out fast and fantastic sandwiches and salads! Loved the chicken salad sandwich and they did not shy away from the meat! But let’s talk about the real gem of this place…the dessert! Oh my heavenly goodness! Lots of mouthwatering options! I opted for the orange dreamsicle cheesecake and it was delightful! Will definitely eat here again!"

"I met some family and friends there. I wasn't very hungry so I ordered a side plate of fruit. The server said there wasn't much to it and boy was she right. For $3.50 I got three slices of orange that were about an eighth of an inch thick halved, and what was probably close to 1 strawberry sliced into four pieces. The others food looked great and they said it was really good. I also had a piece of pie which was great. My advice is try the place, just don't get the side plate of fruit."

"Wonderful lunch spot, only open from 11 to 3 , take the alley and park in the back, the entrance is in the back. Lunch specials every day, and a small menu, soup, sandwiches, and wonderful dessert place. We had the bacon and benedictine sandwich, deviled eggs, and a hot brown. The a huge piece of marbled cake and coconut pie. The food was large portions and outstanding! I took the chicken salad.and cake home!! Will definitely go back!"
