"Super cute cottage restaurant! Headed back to Indy, my family decided to stop in for a quick breakfast to-go. I am so glad we did! Small and cozy on the inside but there’s a lot to see. There are plenty of trinkets and goodies like crocheted pickles and seeds for gardening that you can purchase. I ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit…fire!! The biscuit was super soft and fluffy. Also the strawberry shortcake frozen iced coffee was so good! They have different milk alternatives. The young ladies that assisted with my family’s orders (8 of us) were so friendly and helpful. If you’re ever in the area, I definitely recommend stopping by The Cottage!"

"This is the BEST cafe I have ever been to. Everytime I travel to Kentucky I have to stop by and have a meal. I am from Boston and nothing compares to this charming, quaint lil coffee shop. The food is awesome! Some of my favorites are the Owensburger made with candied bacon and two kinds of cheese with a secret special sauce. I always get a bubble waffle with Nutella, bananas and walnuts. I love to pet the bunnies and look at the cute beehive. It’s the best place to hang out. The service is phenomenal and the owner is super sweet and welcoming."

"this place is a total vibe! From the moment you drive down the driveway, you get a sense that something is really quaint about this. It’s just a really cool place where they’ve got these huge Haybale‘s decorated outside with this little farmhouse, Tucktaway in the back. they’ve got a wonderful sitting area outside, you can enjoy the sun. Have a nice piece of shade. Once you walk in it is just very quaint. They’ve got canned goods, they’ve got cups, had a few places to sit. The staff is super nice, easy to talk to, and very informative. Today I went with the avocado toast with a fried egg, and the brown sugar latte. The avocado toast was on sourdough, which was really nice, the egg was cooked great and it was just a really nice breakfast. The latte was great, and I had a suggestion from one of the staff members on how to make it better, and it was even better than I expected. if you’re in the Owensboro area or passing through this place is not on the beaten path, so you’re going to have to go out to find it. But it’s definitely worth the drive to go out there and enjoy a nice meal."
