from Google & Yelp"What a self-indulgent place (Prospect location). It’s not about the paying customers, who might want a conversation with each other or to work. It’s all about the staff apparently. A visit on a Sunday morning was an experience of the LOUDEST music in a non-music-venue I’ve ever been to (would’ve left too but had an appointment I would’ve been late for). In a previous visit, the jukebox seemed cool. And the music that Sunday was awesome grunge. It was just TOO LOUD. (Ok, there is a sign on the wall that proclaims “Loud Music,” but this was WAY over the top.) The staff didn’t care either. They were too busy high fiving each other metaphorically, which they had plenty of time to do because the place wasn’t busy. The reason is understandable. Won’t go out of my way to be a paying customer at this place again. Too many other places that are comfortable and keep background noise to a humane level. And those guys and gals behind the counter at PTY can start saving up for their hearing aids now."
"My only gripe is that I have a hard time paying a lot for something as simple as chocolate chip cookie. That being said… it was a solid, good cookie; nice and gooey in the center. The atmosphere and vibes were very good and cozy. Nice staff as well!"
"Went in for a cozy Saturday read and was not disappointed! I got an Americano and the world famous chocolate chip cookie. Not much to say about the coffee - it was on point. The cookie was amazing - soft in the middle, crispy on the edges, generous amount of chocolate and maybe salt flakes on it? So good! The River Road location had a good amount of seating of different types - traditional tables/chairs, a really squishy sofa, lounge chairs, and a quirky booth. There's a big table too that could seat 6 or so people and the booth is about that big too!"
"Visited the "Frank" store. Really impressed. Great coffee, great service, great cookies. They nailed my very specific coffee order the first time... a rarity. Cookies are delicious... self proclaimed best in Kentucky. Street parking only and a little sparse, but that's a minor detail."
"I had driven past this location earlier in the week and saw the "best chocolate chip cookies in Kentucky" sign so I had to see if they were right! And while I could have gone to another location, I happened to end up back here for a cookie and a hot cider and they were both incredible. I sat outside by the fire and it was perfectly lovely. Inside was cool too - I waited for my drink on a green leather rocking chair and enjoyed the jukebox very much. It looks like a great place to hang out and the staff were very friendly."
