"Brick + Mortar coffee house and boutique is what boldly represents little towns across America and the top level customer service and quality products you can get when you shop local versus adding to major corporations. Don't get me wrong, I love the major retailer coffee chains as much as anyone else, but there's something different about Brick + Mortar. The care is exceptional. The quality is refined. The pricing is completely average and honestly not bad when you consider how much it costs to locally source the majority of their products. The ambiance is wonderful and inviting! You can tell how much love and work has gone into creating this wonderful new business. Give em a shot as soon as you can! You won't be disappointed!"

"Went there for 2 sandwiches. Was told can’t make a panini, takes too long and they are short staffed. Was there at 1:30 - open till 5 There were 4 people working. What??? Managed one sandwich - had to change bread at home since the bread was basically hard as a brick. Felt bad for the 4 people behind me if they were looking for a sandwich. I will NOT come back. I will go back to support Shelbyville @McKinleys."

"I, my son and his long time girlfriend from Germany dropped by this morning on our way to check out the outlet mall. Our first visit to Shelbyville as they enjoy different coffee shoppes when traveling. The coffee, muffin and lemon blueberry cake were very good. However the young lady that waited on us could use some manners on being nice and not so stoic! Not a smile to be had and very rude when she kept saying Lorena when I got a Carmel Machiatto and I didn't understand what she was talking about!! So that kinda of put a bad taste in our mouths on the whole place!! I will not be returning!!"

"Found this cute place while on a hunt for coffee in the area and now I’m obsessed! I got their Fiona latte (white chocolate, blackberry, hint of lavender) and it is sooooo good! I wanted to try the vanilla bourbon latte but they were out of the flavor since it’s towards the end of the week but more reason to go back again. The atmosphere of the place is also amazing, with plenty of seating and natural light."

"Coffee was fantastic! Service was mediocre. The people working cared more about hanging out with their friend that was hanging out on. I'll give it another try, but the people working definitely need more teaching of customer service expectations."
