"It's the flavors roasted INTO the beans for me! It's also the fact that the coffee is french press (tastes better imo). You'll find favorite flavor profiles as well as lesser seen offerings you wish you'd had access to before--Derby Pie, anyone? They have lactose free options. Not sure if there are gluten-free baked goods as I forgot to look. For those of you looking for somewhere to sit down and get some work/homework done, Java on Joe is has the space. I forgot to check for outlet availability but the seating is generous so come with your battery charged. There's also a plethora of giftable items if you're needing something for yourself or a thank you for a friend. The owner is lovely as are the staff. She explained that the majority of their ingredients are Kentucky-sourced. Great coffee, good company, supporting local economies, a pleasant place to land... there, you have zero excuses to explain why you haven't been already!"

"Incredible people. The women here are the absolute sweetest souls on the planet. They were so kind when explaining the menu, and explained it in depth once we entered the place since it was our first time! I went with my mom, and she ordered a coffee. I ordered their Lotus energy drinks and an acaì bowl. When they made it they were so patient and they gave me a bunch of freebies with my bowl! The drinks were incredible and the bowl was delicious. I cannot recommend this place enough! The store is also incredibly clean and absolutely gorgeous. The coffee is made with real beans and tastes like actual coffee, according to my mom. Awesome pricing for such high quality, as well!"

"This place is great. We have been here multiple times. They do individual French press coffee. It takes a minute to make the coffee fresh! The coffee is amazing and it doesn't have all the sugar used in a normal coffee. I would give this place a try, it's our new favorite coffee shop! Limited local food in the mornings....so get there early!"

"I stopped in today from an early morning start of my work day. The young gentleman that was serving went above and beyond. (I believe he said he was from the Midwest, where he attends a Christian College, here on a job internship?? We had fun with my order as I allowed him to recommend something. My first Lotus Tea!! It was amazing and I'll definitely be back. I gave it a 3 on food for there was hardly anything to choose from."
