What People Are Saying
from Google & Yelp"As someone who spent countless weekends at PJ's on Magazine Street back in the day, I was pleased to spot a location at the airport for my 7am flight. However, this airport outpost delivered a decidedly mixed experience. Ordering coffee via kiosk was an unusual experience, but the real test came with the food and drink quality. I ordered a black coffee and a breakfast croissant, both delivered in reasonable time despite a single employee managing a busy morning rush. The coffee was fine—solid airport fare served in the expected paper cup. Nothing spectacular, but reliably decent for a quick caffeine fix before boarding. The croissant, however, was disappointing. While heated as requested, only the exterior was warm. The center remained cold, leaving the pre-prepared egg unpleasantly chilled. It's a reminder that airport food operations prioritize speed over quality. The atmosphere is purely functional—this is an airport terminal, not a cozy coffeehouse, so expectations should be adjusted accordingly. Overall Rating: 2.75/5 stars - Coffee: 4/5 stars - Solid airport coffee - Food: 2/5 stars - Next time I'll bring my own breakfast - Service: 3/5 stars - Efficient despite being understaffed - Atmosphere: 2/5 stars - Airport terminal ambiance Recommendation: Stop by for the coffee, but skip the food and pack your own breakfast instead."
"If I could put 0 stars I would. Took a chance for some PJs instead of starbucks. But I ended up waiting at the register for 15 minutes no service, a line formed. Both self serve kiosks were broken. They close in 40 mins according to Google and many people ended up walking away. I love how they turn down business. Never seen anything like this. Starbucks it is then 😋"
"I recently visited PJ's Coffee shop at Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY) and I was pleasantly surprised. The coffee was decent, and the food was good. The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting. I would definitely recommend stopping by PJ's Coffee Shop if you're in the area."
"There is plenty of space to sit and hang out while awaiting your delayed flight. I only got a drink. It'll do if you're thirsty but don't expect too much in the way of amazing quality or customer service. In addition to their drink menu, they have a small selection of muffins and breakfast sandwiches. If it matters I came at noon."
"I ordered a frozen blended caramel granita. It was horrible, no sugar, no caramel. I tried to ask the associate for help but she couldn't understand what I was asking for. Needless to say I wasted $6.84."
"I saw this brand new PJ's location while in the area today and was craving an iced coffee with sweet cold foam, so I swung into this drive thru. Excellent..."
