What People Are Saying
from Google & Yelp"A great place in Louisiana for breakfast and brunch. It would also be a great study spot. I recommend the pastries/croissants the most for food. The food isn’t outstanding, but better than Starbucks. The coffee is great! And there are a lot of options. The best part is the atmosphere and seating. It is cozy and comfy, but not crowded. The service was also great! Overall you need to stop by if you’re in Louisiana."
"Date of visit: 01/31/2026 This morning, as I do almost every Saturday, I went through the drive-through to purchase ham and cheese croissants. I’ve been a regular customer and have never had issues before. I was informed there were only four ham and cheese croissants available (I usually purchase five), so I ordered the remaining four, along with one sausage biscuit and egg bites. When I arrived home, I discovered that two of the croissants were plain with no ham or cheese, and the egg bites were completely cold, watery, and had a very unpleasant odor, making them inedible. I typically don’t check my food in the drive-through out of courtesy to other customers, but due to the issues, I returned to the store to bring back the three incorrect items. I calmly explained the situation. Unfortunately, there was no apology or acknowledgment of the inconvenience. The interaction felt dismissive, and I did not feel valued as a customer. I requested a refund and was told it would be processed back to my card. What was most disappointing was not just the food quality, but the lack of customer service. A simple apology or acknowledgment would have gone a long way. Instead, I left feeling that my time and loyalty did not matter. The extra travel time to return the items is time I can’t get back. Because there is no confidence that this issue won’t happen again—and given how the situation was handled—I won’t be returning. I genuinely hope this feedback helps improve both food quality and customer service for future customers."
"We are out of towners, but was told this was the best coffee spot. And I have to say I agree. The place was decorated so beautifully and the coffee was hot and very good, did not have to use any sugar and I usually need lots of it…. I had a regular coffee with espresso shots and hazelnut and my sister had the mocha latte with hazelnut and I have to say they were both amazing. Price was great. It’s a must for coffee or brunch spot.. You will definitely love it!!!!"
"Every time I come to this coffee shop, I’m put at ease by the friendly atmosphere. The staff is always warm and welcoming. The decor is on point for every season so if you’re the kind of person who frequently drops pics on social media, this is the place for that aesthetic pic. Personally, this is some of my favorite coffee in Lake Charles. Much better than Starbucks. They offer a wide variety of coffees (hot, iced, & frozen) as well as lotus energy drinks, hot chocolate, and Italian cream sodas. Don’t miss out on the available pastries and savory items either. I recommend the cinnamon roll and the spinach puff. I will say that this spot can get crowded. It’s a favorite for students since McNeese University is nearby. Keep that in mind during the school season."
"Visited this cute coffee shop with my husband after seeing it on the news. We were passing through Lake Charles from the SETX area and decided to make a detour. The drinks and muffins we ordered tasted great. However, my husband and I noticed that the employees were overly friendly to other patrons, offering polite greetings and goodbyes, we received neither. We pass through often, but unfortunately, we will not be returning."
"The drip coffee was oh so good. The Watermelon Cucumber drink tasted exactly like a watermelon jolly rancher, a bit too sweet and artificial for a drink. I..."
