"We were visiting Lakeside Shopping Center and wanted to have beignets at Cafe Du Monde. Beignets were very good and up to their standard. Service was fast and friendly. You can pay with a credit card here (it is cash only at the original location in the French Quarter). Nice to be able to get this treat while spending time at the mall."

"My first experience at a Cafe Du Monde was at this location a few days ago. The staff was extremely kind and the environment was calm even though it is located inside the mall. It was a good break from the mall environment and super cute! The beignets were delicious, I can understand why they are a staple! The chicory coffee was great, I liked it better than Starbucks drip coffee. A must, especially for first time New Orleans visitors. Don't feel you HAVE to try the French Quarter location, they have locations within a reasonable drive of the airport."
