"We ordered some food to go to enjoy in the park - it was surprisingly good! Cuban and the shrimp bowl were both delicious and with good quality ingredients."

"Notice: order your food at the cash register first, and then find a table for them to bring your food out to you! My group and I assumed that this was a traditional restaurant, and were very confused initially on how seating is (plus no one really tells you this). Ordered a shrimp poke bowl, some pastries, truffle fries, chicken sandwiches, and some drinks. The food was pretty decent for the price, and the poke bowl was fresh along with being a pretty big portion. Half of the staff were standoffish (unsure if they were racist or just didn’t want to be here), while others were actually pretty nice. There was one specific waitress who was rude to my group (I didn’t catch her name but she wears purple lipstick) and I didn’t really care for her service. The food and drinks were good, however the overall customer service was subpar and I would likely venture elsewhere."

"We were visiting City Park and found this little gem of a restaurant situated within NOMA. You can either go through the front entrance of the museum to access the restaurant or you can use a side entrance. The food was delicious, I had the Spicy shrimp poke bowl, grandson had the chicken strips and fries, my son had the Korean beef bowl and my daughter in law had the Cuban sandwich. All of our food was fabulous, the bowls were colorful and well balanced. My only wish for the Shrimp Poke bowl is more sauce and a little more spice. My son enjoyed the beef bowl but it could use a little more beef. Otherwise the food was amazing. The surprise for me was the kids chicken strip meal. I could look at the fries and tell they were going to be delicious and I was right. They were awesome! And the chicken strips were fried to perfection the coating on the chicken was light and crisp. We all enjoyed stealing fries off of my grandsons plate! Lol! The Cuban sandwich was meaty and filling, you can't miss with anything that you order. We didn't get a dessert but the ones we saw looked decadent. When I return to New Orleans I will make a beeline for Cafe NOMA, it was a very pleasant surprise. The atmosphere was relaxing, the setting is light and airy. Service was fast and tables were cleaned quickly after use. The servers were efficient, not the friendliest crew but helpful enough."

"Spicy shrimp poke bowl was delicious. I really enjoyed it. Ingredients were fresh and tasty. I paired it with the cucumber lemonade. That was also very good. Not too sweet or tart."

"This was the best in museum Cafe we have ever been to with just enough of a selection to cause pause as you figure out which one you will go with. Everything purchased was great and the pastries were sublime. Staff was nice and were constantly dropping off plates and cleaning the tables. Great view of the sculpture garden and lake from the very well lit natural light dining area."

"Me and my friend drove around the classic artsy area of New Orleans City Park and we fell upon this gem. It's quietly tucked behind the New Orleans Museum..."
