from Google"The service and kindness we recieved during our brunch experience was above and beyond. Our waitress, Kiki, recommended the chicken and waffles but sub in the French Toast. It was amazing! We also ordered the salmon, capers, and scrambled egg toast which was great as well. Coffee was also on point. The service and staff were so friendly and kind. My husband, daughter, and I walked away thinking about how it was one of the best dining experiences we have had in a while."
"Fun breakfast spot in the French Quarter. We stopped in for breakfast and ordered the ratatouille omelet, which was okay but smaller than expected. The coconut-stuffed French toast with pineapple, on the other hand, was huge and served with real maple syrup—truly an experience. The mocha was just okay, with no latte art and barely frothed milk. Service was fast and attentive. One thing to note is the ongoing construction right in front of the restaurant, which makes it a bit hard to find and limits the outdoor seating."
"Cute little place! Server was great, very friendly and super attentive. Coffee always was kept full! The crepes were delicious and I loved that the server recommended adding bacon to the French toast, it was so sweet I needed the salty bacon to break it up. My only complaint was the French toast was huge, a smaller size served with something to break up the sweet would have been better."
"11/12/25 - French Toast never disappoints. Every time I visit, I’m reminded why this is one of my favorite spots in the city. My server this time — a younger Black woman with a great personality — was wonderful. She was friendly, attentive, and her menu recommendations were spot on. The hostess was also a true ray of sunshine. She remembered me from a visit a year or two ago, and that warm welcome instantly made me feel right at home. Little moments like that mean so much. The food is PHENOMENAL, as always. Consistent, flavorful, and exactly the kind of comfort you expect when you think of New Orleans brunch done right. One thing I really appreciated on this visit: the bathroom was clean and well-kept, and the walkway leading to it smelled lovely. It was such a pleasant, unexpected touch that added to the overall experience. If you want a quick bite, a relaxing atmosphere, and a genuine taste of home and Southern hospitality while you’re in New Orleans, French Toast is the place. Highly recommend."
"So happy we stumbled on this spot. We even came back a second time on our 3-day weekend visit. First time I got a savory crepe with potatoes..so good. I was genuinely sad when I got too full to finish. Second visit we shared a french toast. Will definitely be back when we visit nola again"
