"Friends recommended Morrow’s. The food was good, but nothing I’d really brag about. Well, never mind, the oysters were delicious. The shrimp pasta my daughter ordered was good, and the beef was delicious. The lettuce wraps were good. We went during happy hour, so the sesame wings and wraps were about half off. The passion fruit margarita was good, and the Punch Out drink, which tasted exactly like a Bahama Mama, was also good. The gumbo sauce was watered down. The host didn’t tell the waitress it was my birthday, so they didn’t sing, even though it was listed on the reservation. The best part of the experience was our waiter. He was attentive and made us feel welcome. Thank you, Ryan, for your natural kindness and for being so nice to us."

"The food and atmosphere were excellent. Rachel offered outstanding recommendations and provided top-tier service. I rate the restaurant five stars, but the owners should note that Maggie, the manager, shouldn't be the first person a customer encounters. She lacked customer service skills, and even though we waited less than a minute for two members of our party, she told us to wait outside in the cold until they arrived. We ended up waiting in front of the subway across the street to enjoy some sun and stay warm. It's worth mentioning that the restaurant wasn't crowded at the time. Despite Maggie's poor communication, Rachel's service and the quality of the food more than made up for it!"

"My experience at Morrow’s was great! My server was very attentive, and personable. One of the managers even came by to see how my meal was and offered me to-go packaging items. I loved the oysters, crab bread, and pasta. My catfish was a little salty for my taste, but really crispy. I came for the Gumbo Ramen, but they only sell it on certain days. That is a bummer for out-of-town guests. Overall, I loved my experience and would go back again."

"We made reservations and they were honored upon our arrival. The atmosphere was great! Our server was friendly and very accommodating. I loved hearing the staff sing Happy Birthday to customers. They but a 🔥🔥 beat to it! I had the fried chicken with red beans and rice and mashed potatoes. It was delicious! The chicken was cooked to perfection and very crispy. Morrows was worth the 5 1/2 hours drive!"

"This was my second time at Morrows and was just as good as it was a year ago. The fried chicken. Mac and yams were excellent. Fried chicken didn’t even need any hot sauce. I tried my husbands greens and they were great also. We had Zion as our server and he was so kind and patient with our large group. He was friendly and made menu recommendations chatted with us about the city since we’re traveling. We’ll be back again next time we’re in town. Thank you!"
