"We learned about the best places to eat from staff. The concierge spoke highly of this restaurant and which meals were the best so we took his advice. Our wait was short, but we noticed a crowd having to wait outside as we were eating. The food came quickly and was worth every penny. The meals were inexpensive but filling. I opted for the shrimp and grits as suggested and my brother went with the Bananas Foster that was suggested. I tasted his and it literally melted in my mouth. My shrimp and grits were delightful and extremely satisfying. My Sister had a crab omelette with avocado that she didn't really enjoy, but she loved my entree so I shared as it was too much for me alone. As stated, we were early and were able to be sat immediately. By the time we left, a crowd had gathered outside awaiting to get in. This place was worth the reputation the concierge, Ariel, told us about."

"One of the best meals I have ever had. The staff was amazing. The wait wasn’t too bad. It is a smaller location but adds to a very lax vibe that they have going on. Love the art available inside as well. I am not typically a shrimp & grits person, but this honestly may have been the most flavor I have had in a meal. The bacon added to it was just icing on the cake. Paired with a very unique stuffed bananas foster French toast. It was one of the best variations of a bananas foster I have had and I may or may not have made an audible noise as I ate it. One of the servers walked by and just went “I heard that” not even realizing I had done it. I couldn’t recommend this location enough. Come early to try and get a spot. If you find yourself on the waiting list, it is so worth sticking around to be seated. Plan on coming back every time I am back in New Orleans"

"Amazing food....12 outta 10 delicious 😋. The place is very small and there will be a wait, but it's absolutely worth the wait. Staff was very nice service was fast and food amazing. There are art pieces covering the walls that are for purchase that were beautiful. Go, you won't regret it!!!! Oh yeah the fresh juice was amazing as well."

"I found this place when I was googling directions to the zoo and decided to stop for a late breakfast. We parked on the side street pretty close to the restaurant. We were seated immediately, and the service was great! The food was delicious, and the portions were huge. The restaurant was also very cute and unique."
