What People Are Saying
from Google"It's been 6 years and I'm still thinking about how much we loved this place - so much, we visited 2 nights in a row. I was with an English friend and wanted to give him a better experience than Bourbon St. Go east of Esplanade: good restaurants with good music. High school jazz band jamming in the street. It was much more like how I remember Bourbon St in the 70s. Our waitress was fantastic, the food delicious, the band wonderful and the atmosphere fun. And I understood it was "woman- owned"! Another very good reason."
"What a terrible experience. We stoped by on the recommendation of a friend. Walked to the bar to order for our group. Bar tender immediately asked us to pay $3 per person to the band. I usually call that a cover and she was pushing it after the fact. Crazy. I agree to pay and then ordered drinks and tipped. Asked for a receipt for work. She printed it and I then found out gratuity was included. This was never communicated to us in any way. The app she had me tip on never mentioned it. This place is way shady and I would stay away from it. I then complained to the bar tender and she had the nerve to show me a menu where the 20% was printed. It was the first menu I saw. Stay away. $55 in fees on a $79 order."
"I stumbled into Three Muses while I was in town last weekend and ended up having the best night. So good, I went back the very next evening and dragged friends with me. The staff is warm, witty, and genuinely welcoming, the music is fantastic, and the whole place somehow manages to feel both electric and like home. Already counting down until my next visit. Thank y’all! :)"
"We had a great time at Three Muses. Tony and Aubrey were friendly, fun and made a great atmosphere at the restaurant . The music was lively, especially Orphaned in Storyville. The food was also delicious and we had a wonderful time."
"The lady serving at the bar was terribly rude and difficult to multiple members of our group. We wouldn’t return or recommend this venue based on the awful service alone. In addition, the venue had a $3pp cover charge for the music which we were happy to pay - what the staff member didn’t mention when she collected it at the bar though was that the band was only playing one more song then there was no further live music for the night. Food was ok, serving late into the night which is handy, and the band that was briefly on was enjoyable!"
