"Hi hi 👋 back for more adventures from my trip to New Orleans ✨️ ☺️ Thank you all for helping me reach 13 million views. Please remind to like if you wanna see more reviews like this. Here's your review: Miss Eunice Hunt from Jazzy Hats shop in the French Quarter told me to go here when I said I needed some real shrimp and grits. And let me tell you!!!!!! They are celebrating 10 years of service as of 2025. The smells were great, they are health conscious, have milk alternatives for the café drinks, have REAL King cake served by the slice and you can pre order a whole one for $40. They make their biscuits from scratch, they has croissants, cookies, cakes, muffins, corn bread, pecan pie with a unique twist, and of course the shrimp and grits were soooooo flavorful. The staff were extremely friendly and diverse! 10/10 I will be back here as part of my New Orleans tradition from now on. Please take a look and all of the photos I've shared from my experience to give you a glimps from my point of view. I ordered to go and had my brunch poolside at my hotel and yes it was worth the wait! Enjoy!"

"YEE DOGGIES this is amazingly good! The wait is ridiculous so join the wait-list early online. The chicken and waffles (5/5) were amazing - perfectly seasoned crispy chicken with a lovely sweet and unique kick from the pecans and the marshmallow and earthiness from the potato waffle. Like wow. The biscuit and gravy (5/5) also fire. Thick sausage chunks with a savory, creamy gravy and a very well done, flaky, buttery biscuit. This and bear cat were my favorite biscuits in NOLA. The short rib bowl (4/5) was very good but not as good as the other stuff. Shrimp and grits (3.5/5) were okay. Service is also super nice."

"Willa Jean in New Orleans is a very nice breakfast spot with a spacious, clean, and inviting atmosphere. I loved the bakery section and the overall vibes of the restaurant. The food was good — I tried the avocado toast and the crab omelet, both of which were enjoyable. The standout for me was the biscuit: perfectly flaky, buttery, and delicious, easily a 10/10. That said, while everything was solid, it wasn’t quite as mind-blowing as I expected based on all the hype. The avocado toast and omelet were tasty but didn’t leave a lasting impression. Overall, it’s a great spot for breakfast with quality food and a lovely atmosphere, but I wouldn’t necessarily call it a must-visit on a New Orleans trip."

"What a fun experience. After a short wait, we made it to our table. The service was prompt and friendly, and the coffees were on the table in no time. Orders were taken, and food arrived in without much of a wait. The others in the group loved their meals and the chicken and waffles were really great. I struggled with the marshmallows melted on the dish and tried to get around them a bit. The chicken was juicy and the batter really lovely, and the waffle was well toasted with pecans and honey. Nothing much to say that was negative. The dining room is very large, and when it is full, as it often is, it gets loud. But that would be the only critique we could make. Parking, if you need it, is challenging. 4 stars, which, using my definition, means “good place, good value”. So, really check it out when you are in town. There are many great-looking dishes on the menu, and I will be back."

"Went for breakfast Saturday morning when they first opened so there wasn't a wait. Cute & clean atmosphere with a delicious assortment of baked goods on display. Our waitress Ranisha recommended her favorite the Crab Omelet, Hangover Bowl or Chicken & Waffles. I came for the Chicken & Waffles which were very good. The chicken was crispy and juicy. The sweet potato waffle was soft and had just enough sweetness. Loved the dollops of marshmallow cream, pecans and sauce on top. Probably the best Chicken & Waffles I've had in a long time. My husband ordered the Crab Omelet. It came with crispy potatoes and was full of lump crab! He enjoyed it as well. Forgot to grab a biscuit so we had to go back the next day. The plain biscuit is a MUST! It was flakey and buttery. Best biscuit I've had. The Cherry Pistachio Scone is a seasonal item but I'm sure any scone they have will be buttery and flakey. Overall, I highly recommend eating here. GET A BISCUIT! The staff and service is great. Ranisha is a wonderful waitress and made our NOLA trip memorable."
