"Stopped in at Java Square Cafe after runnin errands in town and it turned out real nice. Coffee was hot and smooth, not burnt, and the pastry I grabbed tasted fresh like it just come out the oven. Place is cozy and clean, folks behind the counter were friendly and didn’t mind I walked in with work boots. For a small spot the prices felt fair, I’d sure swing back in for another cup."

Free limited parking on the side or in front of this cute corner shop. Businesses that offer well-crafted coffee are extremely limited in this town so if you’re passing through this is worth the drive—-plus there is a courthouse across the street that has beautiful landscaping, local artists’ artwork with a Louisiana flair, murals and statues."
