from Google"I was visiting Shreveport earlier this month and stopped here for breakfast. I had an absolutely delicious biscuit sandwich. Ordering was easy. The interior is charming and includes handmade crafts and food products for sale. It was busy and seating is limited, so be prepared for that."
"Kanya has built an incredible space for locals and visitors alike! You’ve got to stop by Local Market on Line, there’s something here for everyone: locally grown groceries, fresh baked biscuits, all kinds of goodies for gifts like jams, jellies, sauces, flowers, books, pottery, and so much more. Every item in Kanya’s store is handpicked with love. Can’t say enough about this place!"
"Just polished off a delicious sausage egg and cheese biscuit and a cup of their fresh brewed coffee. Both were excellent. I highly recommend their fresh foods both cooked and in the cold section. Outstanding staff."
"First, to give a heads-up its more like a boutique than a market. In case anyone was expecting aisles like the Facebook graphic. Those biscuits are addictive! I mean they are so good! They really put me in the mind of those cheddar bay biscuits from Red Lobster. The difference is that they are huge and it tastes more like real food. Like the difference between max and cheese in the box and the kind you make with roux and bake. The eggs are $10 for organic ones I think she said they were straight out of Shreveport and the others were $7.50. Shucks with the price of eggs might as well get the top of the line. And that they are. I've noticed now that eggs in the store have this puke kind of yellow yolk. And the taste is so different like the farm eggs taste really meaty but not in a gross way. It's actually so different that since it is hard for me to get to the Line Ave market since they close at 3,I now try to buy like Handsome farms or other pasture raised eggs. It's not the same meaty taste but the yolks are close to the same. I also got some cornmeal that you have to put in the fridge it is so fresh. Man oh man does it make the best cornbread! It's just really weird how the same items can taste so different when it comes from like a farm or something. It was a big bag and not to expensive. I hope they still have some when I go back. I included a photo of a farm fresh egg yolk and one from the store."
"Love this place! Such a gem in Shreveport and I hope more local places come up like this. Amazing biscuits and breakfast sandwiches and I get my weekly local eggs, milk, and produce here. They also have tons of other cute gifts/home goods"
