from Google & Yelp"They have recently redone the Tailwind coffee shop to be more of a coffee shop and a bar. I tried a delicious grilled cheese and one of their new cocktails. It was all very good and I'm glad that there are now more options of food near the American Airlines gate. Carmen was amazing, she was polite, friendly and very helpful answering questions since the bar only opened yesterday (1/14/2025) Bar hours are 6am till 11pm, and lunch starts at 11am."
"The young black lady that was at the counter was so blah, you ask her questions and she just takes forever to respond. The coffee I bought was a vanilla latte- with four shots of espresso, it might have had two if that. I proceeded to purchase a cheese danish, she went to go look to see if she had one. Not knowing I could see her just bent over and making it look like she was looking, she came back up and said we are out. Ten dollars! Like okay what if I wasn’t ready to checkout. I could have more to get. Hmmm."
"Sitting here 30 mins waiting for bartender or personal to take money for food. Entire flight here and no one here to take food orders. But hey the cook is here...then by the time she makes it back he's ironically shut down the grill. Never have I ever...Shreveport you got to do better...Trash!"
"Georgina is amazing! She made a long night seem so short. We had a three hour delay and she ensured we were well taken care of during our stay at Tailwind. I noticed the signs with employees of the month and I didn’t see Georgina’s name. I would love to nominate her because she truly made my time at the airport, with the consistent delays, more enjoyable!"
"I’m writing this with my cheek pressed against the cold tile of my bathroom floor, seeking comfort in my darkest hour. I ordered the cajun chicken pizza while waiting for my flight. Despite my hunger, I soon regretted my decision, as I started to feel ill on the plane with every burp tasting like bitter regret… or cross contamination. When I got home, I tossed and turned before I was able to expel the wrath of Lucifer. The aftermath of symptoms lasted a week, a testament to the culinary catastrophe. With only one person multitasking at the register, handling food, and managing cleaning duties, it's a health hazard waiting to happen. This place urgently requires investigation by Louisiana's health inspectors. My sympathy goes to the lone worker, but the public's safety should be the priority. Seriously avoid this place unless you’re buying something that’s coming prepackaged and sealed."
"This small counter service spills over into the concourse for seated "dining." Ambience: Concourse, of course. Recommend soup of the day and a cold..."
