What People Are Saying
from Google"TANGY Turkey Turkey, Swiss cheese, cucumbers, lettuce, tomato, cranberries and our tangy cranber mustard on a cranberry almond bagel. Delicious with pickle and fresh made chips"
"The Creole Bagelry and cafe is a beloved local spot where the warm ambiance invites everyone to come together for a hearty meal, whether it's breakfast, brunch, or lunch. The bakery's handcrafted bagels, perfectly baked to achieve a crisp crust and soft interior, are a highlight of the menu, often served with a variety of rich, creamy cheeses that elevate the experience. Patrons eagerly gather around cozy tables, savoring their bagels topped with decadent herb-infused cream cheese or classic flavors like chive, all while sipping on robust, aromatic coffee that fuels lively conversations. The inviting atmosphere buzzes with laughter and camaraderie, making it the perfect haven for friends and families to enjoy delicious food and each other’s company, creating memories over every shared bite and sip."
"My favorite little place to grab a bite in Slidell. Their bagel breakfast sandwiches are sooo good and a decent value. The rest of the menu is a little pricey, but at least the items are fresh and if good quality. The employees are also great, patient even when I'm being annoyingly indecisive and ready with suggestions if asked. I wish they were open later, as food up to my standards is hard to come by here."
"Mixed experience at Creole Bagelry and Café. I ordered the "Big E" Omelette, which was large, fluffy, and very delicious—I'd give it four stars on its own! Unfortunately, everyone else at the table was disappointed with their meals. My wife’s quiche wasn’t thoroughly cooked and had to be sent back. Our friend’s shrimp and grits were drowned in a sauce that tasted too much like Worcestershire sauce, making it hard to enjoy. The toast was fluffy and good, but the coffee was weak and not to my taste. We didn’t get to try the bagels, so maybe those would’ve been the redeeming factor. Overall, it was a hit or miss."
"First visit. My daughters treated me for my Birthday. My favorite was the Praline Waffle. So much to choose from so I’ll definitely be back to try more of the menu. Friendly service. Nice atmosphere."
