"The inside decor of Tea Plus looked really nice and aesthetic! I felt like I was in a futuristic setting than an actual boba shop. Service was friendly and quick with the orders. I got their Roasted Brown Sugar Boba Milk ($5.25), Popcorn Chicken ($6.50), and Takoyaki ($6.50). Honestly, the brown sugar drink tasted a bit watered down as I felt like it didn’t have enough of the brown sugar taste to it. However, the popcorn chicken tasted amazing! It had the perfect crunch to it and a zest of lemon pepper to add good flavoring to it. The takoyaki was good too, but I felt it was a bit mushy not enough squid on the inside. Overall, my experience here was good, but the popcorn chicken had to be my favorite out of everything I ordered."

"Finally, a truly amazing Chinese bakery near New Orleans! 😭😭 The super talented baker behind this shop just opened her store this year, and now I’ll never have to worry about finding good cakes in New Orleans again! 🎉 My top recommendations: 🍰 Rousong (pork floss) mini cakes – I always regret not buying more boxes! 🍡 Mochi buns – even people who don’t like mochi will fall in love with these. 🍵 Matcha crepe cake – a perfect Lady M dupe, made with imported Japanese matcha. 🥭 Mango crepe cake – incredibly fresh mango. Durian crepe cake – packed with rich durian, literally overflowing! 🥭 Mango pomelo sago bursting cake (6”) – tastes exactly like real mango pomelo sago, super fresh mango and fluffy sponge layers. 🍗 Popcorn chicken – crispy and flavorful, without that heavy starch taste. ☕ Tiramisu – several flavors available, all delicious! 🍓 Matcha strawberry cake – soft, fragrant, and perfectly balanced. Besides the daily fresh cakes, you can also order custom birthday cakes — they’re beautiful and delicious 💕 The owner is incredibly kind and genuinely cares about quality. The first time I visited, she thought one cake wasn’t perfect and insisted on giving me two boxes for free (still tasted amazing!). The second time, she was experimenting with new guava desserts and let me try fresh guava on the spot! 🥹 Even the highly anticipated matcha crepe cake won’t be made unless her premium matcha powder shipment arrives — that’s how dedicated she is. The shop is located in Slidell, about a 30-minute drive from New Orleans, but it’s 100% worth the trip. I usually go once a month for a “cake stock-up trip.” Sometimes, when her husband is available, they even organize group deliveries to New Orleans. It’s technically a milk tea shop (the drinks are great too!) and the cake selection changes daily, so message the owner in advance to check what’s available. 🍰💕 If you love fresh, handmade desserts — this is the place to go!"

The tea is delicious, we just tried it for the first time and my daughter and son love it, I tried the horchata coffee and it was so so good I highly recommend.
