"The food is good, freshly cooked to order, and served piping hot. It’s the best, most flavorful shrimp and grits we’ve had anywhere! My husband has to get this every time we are in town. My son says it’s his favorite chicken and waffles of anywhere! Delicious beignets served three different ways - powdered sugar, cinnamon sugar, or glazed! The glazed is a game changer! The service is impeccable and friendly - you will be treated like family. One server there though on our last visit puts her hands on the top of the glasses to serve them, she gets too close when taking orders, she reaches across us and our food, she almost burned my daughter with the coffee pot, she wasn’t very attentive, she was serving our food and a plate fell into her shirt and she still served it. "So let me start by saying my family loves Joes Glazed beignets! What we don’t love is the customer service! My family and I were visiting from South Carolina and decided to grab some beignets and coffee for the road. We are a family of 6 so naturally our order was on the larger side of things. Drive Thru was empty except 2 cars in front of us. In the mix of ordering the young man taking our order made it seem as if we were inconveniencing him by ordering so many beignets. When I tried to order coffee he made it seem like it was a problem so I cancelled the coffee and just got OJ so we could go ahead and just get it over with! My suggestions to the establishment is a possible re-train on customer service would be great ESPECIALLY since ya’ll are tip based! I too am in the food service industry in understand it can get frustrating but ruining a customers experience because you don’t like your job is unacceptable! Other than the customer service, beignets are great!"
