"I honestly don’t even know where to start. We came here for breakfast — I wanted to surprise my husband with a cute morning date, start our day in a nice cozy place I saw on TikTok… but this place turned out to be a complete disaster. The restaurant was literally empty. Not a single table was taken except for one. We ordered a bunch of food, coffee, smoothies — and then just sat there… and waited. Twenty minutes went by, still no coffee, no food, nothing. Then finally — we hear the sound of the blender. After twenty minutes, they’re just starting to make our smothies. Seriously? Meanwhile, one of the staff members was sitting at a table talking on the phone the entire time like she was on a lunch break. And to make it worse — they were blasting Spanish music in a Turkish restaurant. Like… what?! Where’s the culture, the vibe, the authenticity? It felt like they had no idea what kind of restaurant they even were. I wanted this to be a special breakfast for us — but instead, the tables were dirty, the service was careless, and the whole atmosphere was just off. The waitress didn’t even write down our order, then came back to ask again because she forgot. Why not just use a pen and paper? It’s not that hard. I understand you can memorize order for 2 people, but if you know you cant why cant you just write it down? And again — the place was EMPTY. No rush, no excuses, just pure laziness. 1 table besides us, and they were already eating. I usually come to places like this to film aesthetic videos for my social media— cute little moments of where we eat and spend time together. I wanted to make a beautiful, cozy video here too… but honestly, after this experience, I’ll never come back. Many of my friends wanted to try this place, but now I’ll make sure everyone knows to stay away."

"I had a nice time here, great local spot :) I came in the morning to work with my laptop, there's free wifi, the atmosphere was nice, and there were some ample outlets (not at every seat so make sure the check). There's seating for 5-6 people, some table seating for 1-2 people and then classic bar style seating in front of the main window. Felt like the food was ordered within a reasonable time and staff were friendly! I had the caramel waffle with ice cream and Turkish tea, both were yum."

"We stoped by our friends at this cafe and enjoyed the vibe, chai and simit! They were very friendly and served us very good."

"Food was tasty, but all free tables were dirty when we arrived and it took almost 30 min to order. Also most of the seats had stains"

"Authentic Turkish cafe with great desserts and solid food. When Coffee Turco first opened, it made a splash with its iconic Turkish breakfast feast. While the initial hype has cooled off, I never got around to trying the feast myself. Instead, I’ve occasionally stopped by for their Turkish desserts and sandwiches. The regular menu here doesn’t stray too far from typical breakfast diner offerings, but they used to add a Mediterranean twist with complimentary sides like olives, feta, tomatoes, and cucumbers. These little perks have since disappeared, but the food is still solid. So far, I’ve tried their waffles, sandwiches, and the Turco omelet—none of which were anything to write home about. But there’s one dish that keeps me coming back: their Kaymak (Turkish clotted cream) paired with a sweet pastry like Baklava. The Kaymak isn’t officially on the menu, so it’s hit or miss whether they have it, but when they do, it’s the perfect way to end a meal. The service here has always been great, but during my most recent visit, I was a bit thrown off by how the staff insisted on table service for everyone dining in, unless you were ordering to go. As someone who usually stops by for a quick bite, this caught me off guard—after all, it’s a “café,” not a full-service restaurant. Instead of the warm Turkish hospitality I’ve come to expect, it felt more like a calculated move to nudge dine-in customers toward tipping. Still, if you’re craving an authentic Turkish coffee and dessert experience, it’s worth taking a shot—if only for the Kaymak."
