What People Are Saying
from Google & Yelp"I took my parents here for lunch, the ambiance was perfect. We ate outside on the patio and had beautiful weather that day. The food was wonderful. The lobster ravioli was the best I’ve ever had. Our waiter David was amazing. Very fun to talk to , and kind, he really made the experience wonderful. Everything we ate was delicious. They have a great drink menu as well. The tables are a little small, however that’s the vibe we wanted and the 3 of us ate comfortably with no issues. They were very good about keeping the table clear when items were finished, which helped a lot with table space."
"We’re on an adventure to find the best Italian spot in the North End, but this one didn’t live up to our expectations. For what we paid, I personally don’t think it was worth it. The Arancini appetizer saved the day, along with my partner’s Fusilli Alla Vodka, which was excellent. I had high hopes for the Rigatoni & Sunday Ragu, but it fell short. The pasta wasn’t cooked al dente—it probably needed another 45 seconds. On the bright side, there was plenty of braised ribs, which were perfect. However, there was no sausage in the dish, and to compensate, they brought over a small sauce dish with a few pieces. The meatball was unevenly cooked—one half was tender and good, while the other was hard and overcooked. Servers are really nice and outdoor seating made gave it the perfect atmosphere!"
"Great atmosphere and good for a date night. Started with the bruschetta with ricotta - this was a must get! Got the chicken parm with vodka sauce and the seasonal special butternut squash raviolis. Both dishes came out a bit cold which was disappointing but overall enjoyed."
"I was in Boston for a conference and stumbled upon Ciao Roma in North Boston — and wow, what a vibe! The location and ambiance are everything — perfect for a girls’ night or date night. The inside has a cute little bar, but the outdoor seating is where it’s at. The pasta was so good, dessert was amazing, and our server was super attentive. I’m from Miami, but this spot is officially on my must-visit list whenever I’m back in town!"
"I made reservations for lunch at 3pm on Saturday to sit inside away from the heat. When were brought to the table they sat us by the stairs. I asked if we could be seated at the tables by the window where there were multiple open tables. The server said he had to ask the hostess outside. Then, he seated us next to the bathroom/bar area and the entire time we were there those other tables remained empty. I would have left then and there but we were very hungry and decided to order. We ordered two glasses of wine, the fennel salad, roasted chicken and the basil gnocchi. All I have to say, is don't waste your time and money here! Aside from the salad the food was terrible. The chicken was greasy and bland and when it came to the gnocchi, I've had better food on a plane! The waitress also never came back after she took our order. Never asked if we wanted anything else, coffee or dessert. I called one of the 3-4 servers cleaning by the bar/bathroom area for the check. We fell for the social media hype and that's all it was, hype."
"What a GEM. Super old, super classic, super unique. We popped in for a quick, warm treat to get out of the cold. Everything was amazing. Service was fast..."
