from Google"Amazing Bar near Boston University (BU) with plenty history. It is located in the Basement. The bartender (Rob) was so friendly & helpful. He would recommend the most delicious Boston Beer. We ordered Samuel Adams Summer Ale & it was amazing. The price was $26 for 1 pitcher (I add $3 for tip). Really love the drink, but it was only available until the summer. There are plenty tables so u don't need to queue. There are trivia event on Wednesday and Stand Up Comedy on Saturday. Would love to come regularly to this place."
"Decent spot to have a couple drinks before a sox game. Prices are reasonable compared to inside the stadium."
"A bit of background - I belonged to a fraternity at Boston University in the 1990s. We just held a reunion this past weekend, and The Dugout was #1 on our list. We were able to schedule an event at the Dugout, and it was amazing. I worked with Billy (the owner) to schedule a four-hour private event, and on the day of the event bartender Christopher did an amazing job of keeping the flow moving and the energy high. Thank you so much, Dugout!"
"Dugout is what it is, and I love it. The beer is good and cheap, the food is good in a pinch, and atmosphere is unmatched. I'd put it just above a dive bar as its outfitted with an all wood interior and great tight knit community. Dugout is a staple in the neighborhood, definitely recommend grabbing a pint."
"Went with a group and were denied service because he didn’t believe our IDs were real. Everyone over 24 a couple 30+ people. A few POC and white people in the group. The bartender didn’t scan them just looked at one ID with a flashlight and said “I don’t like them” and asked us to leave."
