"I visited Emmi Bakery & Café, located near the USS Constitution across the Charles River, right at the end of the Boston Freedom Trail. I stopped by on Thanksgiving Day, when almost every other restaurant was closed — but these guys were still open around 5 PM, and I’m truly grateful for that. I ordered the melted Caprese panini, and it was honestly one of the best sandwiches I’ve had in a long time — perfectly toasted with delicious melted mozzarella. I also had a coffee, and everything hit the spot after a long, cold walk. The server was incredibly friendly, helpful, and great to talk to, which made the experience even better. The vibe inside was warm and cozy, with people sitting, chatting, and relaxing while it was freezing outside. Overall, Emmi Bakery & Café was a total lifesaver on a holiday, and the food, service, and atmosphere were all exceptional. I left feeling extremely happy. Highly recommended!"

"I’ve been coming here regularly (about every other week) for months now, but the banana bread latte is what prompted me to finally write a review. Their sandwiches are good, the croissants are yummy when heated up, I always had a pleasant and satisfying experience. But the banana bread latte blew my mind. I love that they put little pieces of real banana in there. It isn’t too sweet but still feels like the perfect little treat. It’s so good, I cannot wait to go back and get it again. 10/10 would recommend. Everyone who works here is very sweet, too."

"The food was pretty good, but I ordered two items and they were both given to me/made incorrectly. I got an almond croissant and was given a plain croissant. I mentioned it to the staff and they were very polite, offering me an extra pastry to make up for it (since I wasn’t going to ask for a $1 refund—the difference in price between croissants). What I did not bring up later was my bagel sandwich, where they gave me the wrong bagel. I didn’t mind sesame and the sandwich was good, but I asked for an everything bagel and it was even input correctly on the ticket. I would go back here to try more items, but be prepared to have your order made wrong."
