from Google"We were in Boston the first weekend of December and visited multiple bars and speakeasies. The extra dirty cocktail club was hands-down the best experience we had on our entire vacation to Boston. From the ambience to the decor to the drinks, even the service was out of this world. We walked over after dinner and enjoyed an evening to remember. The moment I walked into the speakeasy I noticed a nice collection of tequila’s & quickly I was offered their recommendation along with recommendations of cocktails. The bar was intimate and yet lively. I look forward to telling my friends who are planning a trip to Boston about this bar. I was a little skeptical because I thought 4.9 rating is very high for a speakeasy but IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT. I had a mezcal tasting that I recommend for the tequila lover! I didn’t do the food experience so it’s just another reason I had to fly to Boston just to go back for that experience."
"We came in for the Autumn Flavors of New England and it was a great time. The drink menu was warm, cozy and had a few touches that were reminiscent of Thanksgiving (cc: Stovetop Stuffing Milk Punch). The team, as always, was welcoming, conversational, and super helpful with helping you choose your next drink if you didn’t know what to pick. We got the right amount of food. It paired well with the menu and really rounded out the experience. Can’t wait to come back."
"We attended an event that was designed around cocktails paired with food, and it turned out to be a wonderful experience. The cocktails were truly exceptional—beautifully crafted, balanced in flavor, and presented with creativity. Each one felt unique, and you could tell a lot of thought went into the mixology. The food was good and complemented the drinks well. While the cocktails were clearly the highlight of the evening, the pairings showed intention and added to the overall experience. The ambiance of the venue was fantastic—stylish yet comfortable. The atmosphere really enhanced the enjoyment of both the drinks and the food. Service was another pleasant surprise. The staff were attentive, friendly, and seemed genuinely invested in making sure guests had a great time. Everything felt smooth and well organized, which made the evening even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a memorable event that we’d be happy to recommend, especially for anyone who appreciates great cocktails in a lively and welcoming setting."
"Quite the date night spot to say the least. The vintage decor sets the tone from the moment you step through the curtain. My wife and I sat at the bar and Suzy took us on a flavour journey to remember. Each of our 4 rounds of cocktails brought something different and exciting. While the libations were the celebrities of the night - the icing on the cake was the bisque - just wow. Be forewarned that by your 3rd cocktail course you may want to jump in on the conversation at the bar - which included the efficacy of a flamethrower in the upside down, the different varieties of mezcal and the genius of George Michael. You also may text a bunch of your friends to come check it out it with you. While the chapter you enjoy may not be the same. I’m sure the quality of experience will remain!"
"TL;DR - Awesome cocktails (like Farmacia) and add amazing food (and way easier to get reservations) Been coming here for each of the chapters they've had to date, and continually impressed by the quality of the drinks and the effort Phil, Suzae, and the rest of the team put into the menu - haven't had a bad one yet. The green bean martini (try it!) and Fig & Masala are standouts on this rotation in particular. If you've been to Farmacia you know what to expect, just now with some pretty delicious food to accompany every course as well - which really does make the overall experience feel more complete. Staff here are always incredibly warm and friendly and you never feel rushed either"
