"Feast your eyes on this avocado bagel: eyes only, because taste-wise, I wouldn’t pay for it again. The cappuccino was hot and bitter, and the “maybe I’ll give them a second chance” scone, not pictured here? It reminded me of my first attempt at baking. Vibes are great, taste - not so much. If you spot a middle finger in the coffee foam, it seems oddly fitting for the level of attentiveness I experienced at this place. I was looking for a breakfast and a cozy place to write. The space is cozy, no doubt (Books! Views! More books!) But the food? Might be a blip, but I’m not returning to find out."
