What People Are Saying
from Google & Yelp"I thought this place was absolutely wonderful, they have such a nice like layout in there and everything is put in just so nicely it’s awesome. The baristas were also really nice! They were extremely friendly with helping us decide on something really solid to go with, so we both ended up getting a Hot latte and let me just tell you oh my god it was absolutely amazing they did such a great job on the latte art/food as well really was delicious. Would also say if you wanna come here take the train parking is always a nightmare and it’s so difficult to find cheap parking as well so park farther away take the train in to really kinda feel everything to it, there also close to the Boston commons and newbury street so if you have extra time definitely take a stroll down! It was really just a great time! 1000% would go again"
"Stumbling across this spot while shopping. Great cafe offering very good coffee and a selection of flavoured drinks and snacks. Also has a range of merchandise and beans to purchase. In store displays explain where their beans are sourced. Very popular and busy place. Can be difficult to find a table at peak times."
"Stopped here to warm up on our walk from the seaport to the Wang Theatre. The industrial decor was very similar to Starbucks, but with a few original touches, like the term they use for their retail section: “Exploratorium” (it should probably have been more accurately labeled as just “Emporium”). Staff were friendly and the decaf lates with oat milk that we ordered were some of the best we’ve had. The cafe shares restrooms with the hotel it abuts, so it’s a bit awkward walking through the hotel lobby in order to access the lavatory."
"Finally visited George Howell Coffee and it did not disappoint! Amazing coffee, friendly baristas, a wide selection of brews, and cute merchandise. Definitely a must-visit!"
"Let’s start with the downside… This first part is Food Only: came here on a Sunday 8 am and got the smoked salmon toast ($12.50) and egg, cheese, arugulas and tomato breakfast; as you can see in the picture, I got one slice of bread and few slices of salmon(don’t know if the salmon is the best quality tho I’ll hope it is), I think 4 tiny onions rings, and 3 little radish (idk why even put them since you can’t even taste it) this is definitely overpriced! The egg, arugula and tomato was definitely better and it’s cheaper, even has better taste. I understand as a business you need cover many costs such as location, employees, utilities etc… but come on for 1 slide of bread with salmon for $12+ is pushing it. Tho good side, drinks only: I got a coffee latte with oat milk and matcha latte. The coffee was great! I think it was Colombian coffee and it wasn’t bitter and the temperature was perfect to drink it, lastly the presentation was outstanding! The matcha latte was also great! It was tasty and the temperature and presentation were outstanding! I’ll definitely come back for the drinks but not for the food. Tho I see some pastries that look gods but I didn’t see the prices but I might come back to try them. I wish I could give them better rate for their drinks but the food was less than ok. The cashiers and baristas were really nice and provide good customer service!"
"The coffee tasted plain, with no bold notes to stand out. The aroma was faint and short-lived. Service was efficient but impersonal. Overall, fine but not..."
