What People Are Saying
from Google"Stopped in after the game craving ice cream — even though it was pouring rain — and it was so worth it. 😊 The brownie sundae was delicious! The staff member helping us wasn’t exactly friendly, but she was extremely careful with an allergy in our group, which I really appreciated. Great spot for a post-game treat."
"Nice location, open fairly late, and solid ice cream, though not the best in boston. Really liked the cookie and coffee flavors. Its clean inside, and there is a bathroom for customers"
"Plenty of seating inside even on a nice busy Sunday afternoon. There were quite a few people inside but didn’t seem crowded. They had public bathrooms. The store was a little dirty. The prices were high but to be expected. The sizes were not that big. We got two sundae’s and they were not big at all for the price I expected bigger and more ice cream. We also got a frappe and it was delicious, just one size for all frappe’s. There were also two benches outside to sit and enjoy your ice cream."
"The best and least crowded of the J.P. Licks locations around the area. Nestled in the historic Beacon Hill neighborhood, it's definitely worth a visit if passing through. Their ice cream is phenomenal, and they might have received 5 stars if their toppings didn't cost $1-2 for a tiny plastic spoon's worth of stuff (ridiculous)."
"Horrible experience. Came in to get ice cream for friends birthday, bought some ice cream and accidentally brought in our 7/11 sodas. Was rudely told that our sodas were not “kosher” and the worker touched our cups while saying that. All we needed was a simple “please do not bring your sodas into our store”. Was not stopped previously when buying ice cream. Do not reccomend this J.P. Licks."
