What People Are Saying
from Google"We sat at the bar on a summer Saturday 4:30pm for dinner and had a very nice time. The food was top notch. The space is small inside but high ceilings and the clientele is young. They have a lot of workers so service is quick. Very generous pours of wine!"
"Cute little spot in a quiet South End neighborhood with a cozy outdoor seating area. We sat outside and really enjoyed the ambiance—though I did get bitten by a few mosquitos, so maybe bring bug spray? Service was fine—not overly warm, but nothing to complain about either. One downside: there’s only one bathroom stall for the entire restaurant, and it wasn’t the cleanest. Definitely something that took a bit away from the overall experience. As for the food, it was solid! We had the watermelon salad, one of the dips with bread, and the mixed grill—everything was tasty and the portions were very generous. We left absolutely stuffed. All in all, a nice spot for a casual Mediterranean meal, especially if you can grab a seat outside on a warm day."
"Excellent food, vibe and great staff! Spiro and his team are great, and really know how to make you feel welcome! The food is off the charts! If you want the best authentic Greek food near me in Boston, “KAVA” is the place to go!"
"Just had a PHENOMENAL meal here!! I’ve heard only amazing things and they were all true. The fried zucchini chips were super tasty and addictive. The pastry with feta and honey was warm and sweet—absolutely nothing not to like. The short rib with orzo was also sweet and it really worked! Very flavorful and I would definitely get it again. I might skip on the potatoes though—I found them to be too lemony. Our server was also incredibly friendly and helpful for giving suggestions. Unfortunately my thumb was covering his name when I took a picture of the receipt, but he checked in on us and provided us with a truly wonderful evening."
"Small restaurant, got a reservation for Saturday night and it was pretty busy. The only dish I would recommend is the zucchini chips and the orzo entree. Otherwise, I would say the food is alright. I don’t completely understand the hype because it is not the best restaurant in Boston but the service was great. They gave us extra bread and changed our places when we requested it."
