What People Are Saying
from Google"This place had the best food we ate in Boston. Located in the North End neighborhood, it was surprising that a super modern locale was actually our favorite. They also had the best cocktails we tried. The lemon drop and old fashioned were superb. The service was great and we were given plenty of time and were checked every so often. The ambience was great with the lighting creating a nice atmosphere. The music was a bit too loud for us but overall we could handled that. A key thing is, RESERVATIONS are a must. We saw many people, even in a Thursday, being turned away because of space. Note that they have seating for 25-30 and 3-4 in the bar. So space is always an issue. Overall, I highly recommend visiting them, but ensure you plan ahead so you can have a table ready."
"Fun, Fun, Fun tiny bar in Little Italy on North End. Mixologist are so in to their craft here, using obscure liquors and mixes. Only 6 seats at the bar. Very intimate place. Interestingly decorated. So fun. You just gotta go."
"While the restaurant itself has a warm and cozy vibe we didn’t receive a warm reception. We didn’t even get shown to a table. The waiter merely pointed to the table that he wanted us to sit at. The place didn’t seem all that clean. The menus although quirky felt grubby and dirty. We ordered the potatoes, Brussels sprouts, lamb skewers and the meatballs. The sauce with the meatballs was like water. The skewers were overcooked and chewy. The fried Brussels sprouts were soggy. The potatoes were overcooked as well. There’s a wealth of good quality restaurants on Hanover Street but this place lacks quality."
"If anyone knows how I review, It’s no secret I’ll tell it how it is. I was walking past this restaurant headed to another and decided to give it a try. First impressions were nice, host was sweet and this small and cozy restaurant was inviting. I was able to sit with no reservations ordered and life was great. I got my food within 15 minutes , and what looks great turned out to not be. I ordered the Maine Benny, my biscuit on the bottom was burnt, the lobster was 100% cold and rubbery , but the eggs were cooked perfectly. I’m just very disappointed for north end breakfast which is typically a hit. I can just say, next time a plate I brought out please check the food and the temperature and make sure the food is up to standards. If your looking for a restaurant I would definitely stop by just be aware it could be a miss, but staff was nice and tried to accommodate."
"High expectations, and I liked it better than I could’ve hoped for! First of all, the service and the staff were all great, awesome. The wine list wasn’t huge but there were some nice choices. And when I ordered a glass off the beaten path they brought me a taste just to make sure I loved it. The girl working the door and tables nailed every part of the experience. I’m sorry I didn’t get her name because she was fantastic. The food actually was the surprise. I didn’t expect the lobster ravioli tired with shrimp scampi to rival the more talked about placed on Hanover, but it did - great! I had to try the pork belly “chips” as an app and was right up there too. Dessert was lil’ baby cannoli - just a taste, you don’t have to eat it all! Bonus: they had the dots open to the sidewalk to give a real Italian ristorante feel. Overall a great dinner, I’ll be back."
