What People Are Saying
from Google"This cafe was quite busy on a Saturday around lunchtime. But it wasn't too bad once inside. The line moved pretty fast. The staff was friendly even though it was busy. We ordered the pistachio latte, a regular latte, 2 ham and croissants, and 2 pistachio cherry tarts. They were quite delicious! The sandwiches and pastries were heated up in a toaster oven and given to me at the counter, and the 2 coffees came out a few minutes later from the coffee bar. There were many tables and we were lucky to find one quickly, but it was the last available one. If you come with a partner, one can order while the other "hunts" for a table. Lol. That's what we did. Anyway, the place has great food and beverages, good vibe, obviously very college style culture and demographic. Their brunch options are great too!"
"Despite being always crowded with college kids, we have our best memories shaped here… Try cheesecakes at every Tatte in Boston, you’ll never regret that. It was a taste of cheesecake I’ve never been able to find anywhere else. This branch has nice outdoor seating as well."
"We only stopped for coffee on our way to Isabella Stewart Gardener Museum but I wish we could have had time to have a proper breakfast. They offer a wide range of savory dishes and pastries at a reasonable price. Very friendly staff and a lot of seatings."
"Tasty turkey sandwich and fruit tart. Located right on the university, so this area can get a bit of traffic but parking was surprisingly reasonable to find and the food was great! Will definitely come again"
"Vishruti Rajeshbhai S was the server who handled my order today, and it was one of the most unprofessional experiences I’ve had. I want to be clear that there was no communication barrier and i have visited Tatte many times; I spoke clearly and my English is fluent, yet the service was consistently dismissive. I ordered a Cafe Latte, but was served a Cafe au Lait. I initially thought the latte was just poorly made because it tasted so watery, only to realize later that it was the wrong drink entirely. To make matters worse, the brownie I paid for was missing, and I had to go back to the counter to ask for it. Despite explicitly stating I would be dining in, my order was shoved into a to-go bag without any utensils. This level of negligence felt less like a mistake and more like intentional exclusion. I hope management addresses why this server treats certain customers with such blatant disregard."
