"Hands down the best tea house in Boston. Their beverages are really affordable and not too sweet. You can taste the quality in their tea and the owner Andy is very kind and fun to talk with. He gives delicious recommendations (hojicha w hojicha foam & wintermelon tea w/ube foam). The lighting is absolutely gorgeous too! It’s always inspiring to hear how people start their businesses. I especially enjoyed their Hong Kong milk tea — it was rich and flavorful, and I heard they brew it for nearly four hours before serving. You can really taste the care in every cup."

"A gem in the heart of Boston The Sipping Room has quickly become one of my favorite places in the city. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warmth, thoughtful design, and a vibe that somehow balances cozy and chic. Whether you’re catching up with friends or winding down after a long day, it just fits any mood. The staff deserve a special mention — genuinely kind, attentive without hovering, and clearly passionate about what they do. You can feel that in the drinks, too. Every drink is crafted with care, not just mixed. Their iced lemon wintermelon oolong tea is my favorite. Well balanced with a unique flavor. It’s also one of those rare spots where you feel completely welcome to linger — good music, comfortable seating, and a pace that encourages conversation. You don’t feel rushed, you feel hosted. Boston has no shortage of tea shops, but The Sipping Room has heart. It’s the type of place you recommend to visiting friends — and then keep coming back to yourself. Highly recommend.
