from Google"Went on a Sunday For Boozy Brunch Bingo. Great time, approved parking at Mahoney's across the street. Great drinks, basic bar foods, amazing staff. We went in for the early bingo game and stayed all day until the night game started. Grab a group and go check it out.The adult Capri Suns are amazing, and the games (Pats) are on all TVs and viewable from anywhere."
"We had a great experience at Blondies. The drinks were delicious (I had the salted caramel martini and my boyfriend got an Arnold Palmer), and the service was good despite it being very busy. The decor was cool and the food was good; just classic comfort food. We will be back!"
"This place had so much potential. The decor was great, super funky and cool. The drinks were so fun, but Goodluck getting one. The service was so. bad. We were the only table in the place, and it would take 20+ minutes to get a round (5 drinks). At one point, we had been missing our server for so long we went to the bar, then I had to teach the bartender how to make the drink that was featured on their menu. Food was...OK. Not bad, not great, and didn't make us sick. So that's a win! I was so excited to go to this bar, the atmosphere was incredible, but the poor service really lost it any redeemable points. I actually have such faith that this place could be so incredible, I would consider (if the owner wanted it) to come in and train the staff appropriately. I hear it's a fairly new spot and hopefully these are just early day, growing pains. I mean it though, if owner/manager sees this and would like some assistance, I have 20+ years in the industry. I would really love to see this place flourish"
"This place is so sad. Been here a couple times and I always cringe at how tacky the decor is. Brighton is in need of a cool divey place in this area since mainstays like the sil and model are a bit of a ways away. However, this place is nothing of the sort. Atmosphere is botched and drink prices are surely nowhere near dive bar prices. Service is also kinda weird and whatever music they are playing is always something like bust down thotiana. I get what they are going for but the ravey/high end vibe is really not something Brighton is looking for. This neighborhood is mostly families, people who have lived in Brighton their entire lives, and more alternative younger people. I don’t want this place to fail and be eaten up by Harvard (like many of the good places around) but it seems kind of inevitable unless the staff do a complete 180 on the place. Some free advice I would like to give (take it or leave it): 1) have local small music artists play during the weekend like they do at obriens 2) have drinks that are under 6 dollars- a three dollar beer like at the Cellar goes a loooong way 3) have specialty nights like Michael’s has in Somerville- they have queer nights all the time which brings in a different crowd 4) ditch the horny sign, please 5) ditch the other tacky decor, this opens the space up to become a more multifunctional space- like a cafe- during the day 6) get feedback from the community about what can be done to make it more bumping (this should include all ages, not just young people) 7) install a Photo Booth to attract more people in // I want this place to be somewhere I take friends when they are visiting town to show them Brighton. Right now all I do is point out the ridiculous horny sign as we walk to the speedway."
"Mac and cheese reviewed. Mid. Very mid Mac and cheese. Would not necessarily recommend, but it wasn’t bad. The ratio of breadcrumbs to cheese and noodles was excessive. They use shells akin to Annies mac, and I think another noodle shape would be more conducive. 6/10 Mac and cheese Bartender was lovely. Bizarre and off putting that this is not a queer bar."
