What People Are Saying
from Google"I love this place! I travel to Boston for work and always make it a point to visit The Koji Club and their **wonderful** team. I know next to nothing about sake and the staff was more than happy to walk me through the basics. They have a deep knowledge of sake and it's so much fun to sit at the bar or a patio table and experience all they have to offer. It's a don't miss!"
"The best place to learn about sake in Boston! The staff are extremely knowledgeable about sake and the menu changes seasonally, so there’s always something new to try! Saltine service on the menu is the best sake snack"
"I can’t even begin to express how much I enjoyed my experience here. It was truly unforgettable, with the best sake I’ve ever had. The passion and dedication are evident in every detail. If you are new to the world of sake or haven’t had a good experience with sake, give them a chance. They know what they are doing and they’ll come up with the best recommendations. The cozy and intimate atmosphere made it feel like a special occasion. I also loved the soba cha they offered. It’s remarkable how they manage to achieve so much in such a small space. I am truly impressed and wish them nothing but the best for their business."
"The bartender doesn’t know anything about sake or cocktails. I tasted one of the bottle and asked for another one with dryer taste. Instead, I was recommended for a sake in a can. I was not able to taste it because it’s in a can. It turns out to be a way more sweeter and “smoother”sake. It’s not only served in a can, but a plastic cup, 8oz, charged $23 without tax. Also ordered lychee martini, which tastes like sweet and artificial lychee juice. In an extremely small portion, 2oz, charged $16. What a terrible experience. Do not recommend for anyone who cares about their drinks."
"Best bar experience I’ve had in Boston, hands down. Mellow Saturday night, we sat at the bar with just two other groups. The space, though small, was thoughtfully designed—intimate without feeling cramped. It evoked the charm of those hidden sake bars tucked away in Ginza, Tokyo. Moe, our bartender, tailored the entire experience to our preferences, crafting a journey that felt personal and immersive. After a few rounds, we trusted her completely and asked for her favorites—2 Grain and Ine Mankai—both of which became instant favorites for us as well. Also really loved the Saltine service (green pepper miso + cream cheese combo was so addictive) and I ended up getting a mini onigiri with that irresistable green pepper miso."
