It was amazing its fresh ingredients mixed in naturally to give you that authentic New Zealand taste’. ————— August & Brad are exactly the kind of energy Canalside needs! Walking through the newly upgraded Cambridgeside Galleria, these two immediately stood out. As a local business owner, I pay attention to design, branding, and atmosphere and theirs hits every mark. Clean, premium, welcoming… you can just tell this brand is built to grow across the city. I’ll keep it real… I didn’t get to try the ice cream because I was rushing to dinner. But trust me, I’m coming back for it. A setup this solid deserves the support. Make sure you stop by, show love, and give credit where it’s due. Keep going, fellas, y’all are onto something big."

"I created my own with a vanilla base, mango, and graham crackers mixed in. Loved that it wasn’t overly sweet, and the flavors worked really well together. Only downside, there was a piece of banana at the end of my cone, which makes me think the swirl machine wasn’t cleaned properly. Also a bit pricey at $9.75 for a regular size in a waffle cone."

"So they sell "New Zealand style" ice cream where they freshly blend a base ice cream (vanilla or chocolate) with Fruit of your choice, and you can add toppings. They had run out of waffle comes, apparently they also make it there. The line was pretty long when I was there. The ice cream was pretty rich. Had a strong flavor condensed milk. I had vanilla + mango and it was smooth, oddly creamy, and delicious. Would come again for the experience of it and to try different combinations."

"Far Out Ice Cream is a newer ice cream spot that has been open for about a year specializing in New Zealand style ice cream. They have a robust display of flavors, as well as mix-ins and toppings that go with the ice cream. It was our first time trying it, and the staff were very friendly and helpful even though it was close to closing time. They explained how the ice cream is made and the best combinations for each flavor. We got 2 different ice creams with toppings mixed in, as well as a milkshake. The ice cream looked like soft serve, but wasn't soft serve. The consistency was pretty smooth and not too sweet, and the mix-ins and toppings went well with the flavors. The milkshake wasn't too thick or too watery, but had a good flavor. Prices weren't too high, and they also had premade ice cream pints in a freezer available to buy. Overall, a great first experience and highly recommended to try."

"Confused how this place has such good ratings. The ice cream is not creamy at all, it tastes like bland freeze dried strawberries mixed in frozen yogurt. Not worth $8. Was icy, not smooth"
