from Google & Yelp"Great cafe to do work or chat with friends. There are alot of seating area and charging stations near the window seats. The care has several options for pastries, drinks and food. The blueberry muffin 🫐 was very delicious 😋. The banana muffin 🍌 was also good but slightly on the drier side. The mozzarella pesto & tomato sandwich 🥪 was okay (like a 5/10). There are also outside seating areas. A few downsides: The inside is nice but there are alot of flies for some reason. The wifi has to be renewed every hour and isn't reliable so not the best place to be if you need connection. Also, the AC is pretty weak."

This spot first caught my attention while I was looking for a cup of hot chocolate in the area. The Aztec hot chocolate, which seemed to be their popular menu, was nice and smooth. On a subsequent visit, I tried their chai latte and blueberry crumble. The chai latte, mild in its spiced flavors, provided a soothing contrast to the blueberry crumble, which was pleasantly not too sweet. I also enjoyed the ambiance, which embodied the causal, hip vibe of Somerville. Overall, Cafe Zing's experience aligns well with what you might expect from a bookstore coffee shop – good enough to complement your reading experience without being a destination in itself."
