What People Are Saying
from Google"We, party of 4, were there Sunday for dinner. The service is really good from the host to the servers! And during our dinner came to the table a gentleman approached our table just asking if everything was fine, we assumed he was the manager. The food was good! Sundays they have a “One dollar oyster 🦪 special” the oysters are those little ones… but for a dollar it’s worth it. Two of us got the Salmon Pesto with broccoli and rice,I was expecting more pesto, the salmon was a little over cooked and it was more just like a piece of salmon with broccoli. The rice was dry. Our other two friends got Burgers, one of them got a regular burger and the other one got a double cheese burger, both of them were good. Drinks are ok and prices are very reasonable! I Recommend It."
"Visiting the area and popped in for lunch. Part diner, part bar, all excellent! Friendly staff (thanks Anish!), atmosphere is a bit 50's diner with modern music playing. Not too loud, but enough to get your foot tapping. Ordered the turkey club. The bread to turkey to avocado to tomato to lettuce ratio was perfectly balanced. Bread nicely toasted. Avocado added a wonderful creamy textual element. Everything came together to create an amazingly juicy bite. Their famous double cheeseburger is brilliant. Famous for a reason. Two perfectly cooked patties with cheese. Thick tomato slice, pickle and lettuce. It is juicy, balanced with flavors and textures. I did order a side of chili and added it to the burger (in bites) and I will say that this version with a little yellow mustard was my favorite bite. Reminds me of Tommy's back in Los Angeles. Simply amazing. Fries were also a nice accompaniment. Added chili to them also and they were great both ways. 100% would come back. This place is a yes!"

"Listen..... from what I'm told this is a staple in Harvard Square. I'm unsure why. It's considered a dive bar but it just gives old place on the corner, not even a true dive. The tvs are super small and placed awkwardly in the bar. I ordered the crab Cakes, lobster roll, and mozzarella sticks. The crab Cakes were HORRIBLE. They were flat, mushy and mealy tasting. I sent them back. The lobster roll was not bad. The half order is enough for 1 person. Warm butter is served on the side and needed. I ordered a sidecar at the bar and the bartender had no idea what it was. She brought me a Manhattan of some kind. I had to show her the recipe online. I stuck with cider after that."
"For such an iconic place it was pretty disappointing. I live dive bars and don’t expect much but the food here was pretty terrible. We had the club sandwich, Avacado toast and a burger. All were pretty bad and the fries were cold. This was noon on a Saturday and the place only had a few people in it. Maybe it gets better at night."
