What People Are Saying
from Google"I have been here quite a few times. Every time I've gone its been the same issue. The staff is unbearablly rude. I'll say I'm not going back, then one day I'll decide to give it a chance. Then rinse and repeat. This all leads up to the other night. I went to a local show and popped in for a quick bowl. The girl at the counter stood and stared at me like I had ten heads, sure whatever. Everytime I said someing, asked for rice etc she would mutter under her breath. Then loudly sign and roll her eyes. It came to a point where my bf who was behind me said 'wow thats ridiculous' and she just kinda walked off. I had to basically beg for her to do her job. Mind you I'm polite, I've worked in the service industry before I can cut people slack. This was just out of control. Honestly I was about to walk out and just say forget about the bowl. However I'm not that rude so I paid and left. I should've paid more attention to the bowl that was less than half full. If you're looking for a place with good food or vibes, this provides neither. I would not recommend it whatsoever. It was nearly $30 for two bowls and to leave hungry."
"I ate a Bowl and it was suuuuper delicious! You can choose from a wide variety of ingredients! The portion is very big and at an affordable price. Workers very friendly and patiently."
"A Late-Night Gem featuring Flavorful Bites Tacos El Jefe in Cambridge is an absolute lifesaver for those late-night cravings, staying open until a remarkable 4 AM. That alone earns them major points! But beyond the convenient hours, what truly sets this spot apart is the incredibly friendly service. The staff makes you feel practically like family, offering genuine smiles and happy to dish out recommendations from their menu. I tried three of their meat options: the spicy carne molida, carne asada, and pastor. While each offered a good bite and satisfying flavor, I did find them to lean a bit on the salty side across the board. Despite the saltiness, the overall experience was great, and the flavors were definitely there. And seriously, don't leave without trying the horchata. It's pure comfort in a cup, truly a hug from within. It's the perfect sweet and creamy counterpoint to the savory tacos."
"This is THE PLACE that I’ll miss the most after leaving Boston. 😭😭So yummy, so affordable! Feeling emotional eating my last bowl at 12am two nights before moving out."
"The food was bomb, I got a bowl and my sister got tacos. We both liked our food. There was no wait and we got to sit and eat our meal. The place was very nice and clean. The worker who assembled our food was chill. The one who was the cashier was not that nice though. She wasn't mean or rude just not the best customer service. Mind you, we've never been here before and we're not from Boston. She kind of expected us to know things and her instructions weren't super clear, it was a little vague. Overall, the food was pretty good and it was just the one lady who wasn't that nice."
