"Went here for Xmas dinner and had a fabulous time. Our waitress Brooke was a gem. Super friendly and attentive. The place was very nice deco. The owner Rebekah was so nice and allowed me to bring in a special bottle for me to enjoy with my meal. The food was great. We had their special Xmas menu. I really wish they keep the Oysters 3 ways on their menu cause it was slamming!!! The scallop risotto was a bit salty but very good. The lamb lollipops were really great and so was the seared duck breast. Can’t wait to go back!"

"My friends and I have a monthly dinner club where we pick a new restaurant to try each month. Last month we came here, to Margeaux Supper Parlor, and had an experience we’ve been raving about since. We started with the charcuterie, which was perfectly curated. For our entrées We went with 2 of the tasting collections — the Coastal and the Field & Farm. They were the perfect size for sharing and being able to try multiple dishes, which is what we always love to do. Highly recommend the wine pairings too. We also added a Beef Wellington which is a must try. For dessert we did a chocolate torte, coconut bread pudding, and the pistachio & honey crème brule which is next level. If you go when it’s warm, sit out on the back patio. It’s a beautiful little oasis hidden in Porter Sq, especially on a summer night. The bar and decor inside is also gorgeous. Planning on coming back for brunch next time!"

"I had a great experience here. The ambiance is warm and inviting, and I really enjoyed their unique concept of offering smaller plates that let you mix and match a variety of dishes as an option. It’s perfect for anyone who likes to sample everything and they even have suggested wine pairings for the dishes. I’d definitely come back."

"This review is for drinks only, because we did not have food on either visit. We came here twice in one week when we were in Cambridge at a Home swap. It was within walking distance of our house. First, the ambience is great. The place is gorgeous. We really enjoyed sitting at a bar, and the vibe was wonderful. The bar is open and bright, but also very elegant. And the barstools are comfortable. Drinks: There are lots of incredible mixologists in our hometown, and they make their own bitters and shrubs etc., so we really expect a cocktail bar to ‘wow’ us to really knock our socks off. And the first visit was excellent. They had a naked and notorious, which looked quite like a naked and famous, which I make it home, with a little bit of a twist. I tried theirs, and it was wonderful. Then I also tried to make a naked and famous, and it was pretty much like the ones I make at home. Nothing to write home about, but it’s a beautifully balanced drink. My husband’s drink was a bit of a mess, however. He tried a special Sazerac, but it had a banana flavor added. I think we’ll say ‘no’ to that one. The flavor profile was just a mistake. On our second visit, he ordered a regular sazerac, and that was pretty good. Service: the server on our first visit was excellent and really was attentive; we discussed the bar itself and some of the bartenders, but the server on our second visit was rather absent. So overall, I would give this four stars. We were also a little bummed out, because we wanted to take our son out on his 21st birthday for a really great “first” drink, but it was a Monday and they were closed. We assumed since they were a part of a hotel that they would’ve been open. No stars offer that, but it would be nice if they were open on a Monday."

"We were seated on time for our reservation of 8. There was a fire alarm today. The owners/management were very calm and friendly to all parties providing safety as a priority. The diverse staff were friendly and approachable even with unwelcomed fire alarm. I noticed staff members apologized to the guests and taken ownership of the issue and redirected the guests back to the restaurant. Our waitress was incredibly nice and patience with us as it is our first time, at least I thought she was. :) I got fried chicken pot pie and it was delicious. There's many drink options but I am spirit free, the bar was filled with guests. This place was an solid first time even during busy weekend+dinner. Definitely try the meatballs and bread, it was sweet and salty type of taste. I think by adding additional waitress/waiters, it will help strengthen the customer experience. also valet is $10. The valet was quick and efficient. The young man was polite and professional including the front desk gentlemen who assisted us with the payment, thank you both."
