"I got some really delicious ice cream here at New City Microcreamery. Glad they’re open even when it’s freezing outside!! When scooping for an allergy (such as nuts or gluten), they use a new bucket of ice cream and clean scoop, so there is no cross-contamination. I love the variety and uniqueness of their flavors. The employee working was also very helpful and pleasant."

"I really wanted to like this place because the customer service was actually good and staff were polite, and I was in the area for the first time. However, as someone who works in food service, I was extremely uncomfortable with the cleanliness of the shop. I personally watched an employee take someone’s ice cream with him to turn off the bathroom sink and then continue making the order afterward without changing gloves. I also noticed what appeared to be mouse droppings on the counter area. Cleanliness and food safety are non-negotiable for me, so unfortunately I can’t approve or recommend this location until those issues are addressed."

"Hands down my favorite ice cream place in America’s ice cream capital. They have inventive flavors and switch them up regularly. Generous sized scopes as well. You can usually find street parking our front or there is ample free parking in back lot."

The mango sorbet was excellent, and the salted cookies & cream was also tasty—though quite sweet, so if you're not a fan of overly sweet flavors, you might want to skip that one. The baklava and Boston pie flavors were also great! I recommend asking for a few sample tastes before ordering so you can choose your favorite."
